I got Child Of Light and Rayman Legends free on the Xbone. Also Forza Fast & Furious.

I told him he made a bad choice with Superman but Turok is good.
Superman was a good collectible though. Will hold value.
Bought Epic Mickey 2 for (Vita) $22.50 including shipping. Looking forward to playing it.
I traded in my Club Nintendo points a little while ago. This is what I got:
- MK8 first DLC pack - because I was holding off on getting this, but why not indulge when it's basically free?
- NES Remix 1 - because it was good value for the asking price and I wasn't ever going to actually pay for something like this
- Pikmin Short Movies HD - because this piqued my interest. worth €5? Maybe just. Worth it free? Sure. Who knew the Pikmin were such a charismatic bunch?
- Mario 3D world CD - because I enjoyed listening to my Zelda CD before I lost it, and figured that 3D world music would be sweet as well as it's probably orchestrated.
I could have gotten more if Nintendo's policy cocnerning how long stars remain valid had been less obscure. Once they stated stars would only remain valid for a set amount of time, I gave up on registering games. Now it looks as if once registered, they remain valid forever... If they had communicated that more clearly I could have spent another 4000 stars that now ended up in the bin.
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (PS3)
I really regret not buying the PS4 version. I have no intention of playing it any time soon. It would be much more fitting to play it many years down the line when I eventually have a PS4, before playing Bloodborne (complete edition of course)
I'd love to see your reaction to the PS4 version, resolution so high... graphics so clean it's obscene!
Does it have all the detail, the lighting and the things we saw in the previews which they subsequently removed or smudged out? In any case, I see myself buying it when it reduces in price a little between now and when I get a PS4 (which won't be very soon I think) though I hate to have to buy a game for a third time.
It doesn't have all of the flair we originally saw, no. The lighting system is different with a bit more ambiance and areas illuminated in varying ways from the original, but the tons of animation and environmental objects you first saw haven't been added.
The resolution is super high, the textures are cleaner and it moves so much more responsively than the original, it almost feels like a different game.
It's both a marvel --and-- it looks a tiny bit weird too, as it almost seems as if the textures weren't meant to be seen in such high detail. It's hypnotizing though, for some reason.
They changed enemy placement in a lot of the areas and all the DLC is now included... It really is the ultimate version of the game.
I wanted that, then I saw the trailer and my memories over how great it looked back then disappeared.
LOL....like I keep saying Nintendo needs to start paying studios to do HD Editions of their classics.
I've always wondered why some dedicated folks didn't form a company called the Graphical remake Company and just adapted classic games for different publishers.
