Good conference, but Nintendo wins this time imo. Both had good and not so good parts. Microsoft, lol.

That was a great conference. Killzone 2, GT5, and Dead Space 2 looked amazing. Final Fantasy XIV and Infamous 2 looked great as well. Move looked very good in the mechanics department.

Overall Microsoft's conference was my favourite followed very closely by Sony's and closely followed by Nintendo's. All three were very good and I was quite happy with their showings.

So overall it was a good conference but it had way too many ups and downs. It started off good with Killzone 3, nice demo. They talked too much at times, too many montages. The Move stuff was surprisingly awesome cause they showed REAL games. Sorcery was good use of the move and looked like a nice action adventure game. Tiger Woods worked like how you would think it would. No party mini games, no bad bum fight game. Maybe they avoided it for a reason but that is good, recognizing what is crap and what is not. Pricing was bad. Kevin Butler was amazing.

Then came the PSP part and the conference went to hell. They showed us commericals... commercials. A boring CG trailer of GoW. Another montage. No news about the PSP, no updates no price drop, nothing.

LBP2 came on and the show started to turn around again. LBP 2 demo was totally fun, I wish they showed more. Then came the Valve annoucement, very nice with a Portal 2 trailer! EA was in there somewhere and it was kind of boring cause they showed much of those games before already. New footage of ACB, nice. GT5 release date, Infamous 2 footage and Twisted Metal reveal to end it. So a strong finish but not a big finish (unless you are a Twisted Metal fan). It was very long too. It showed games for the majority of the conference and good ones at that, Move did not suck, so for that it did good.

Overall: B-

If you like the look of that Sorcery game, shouldn't you have picked up one of the Harry Potter wii games by now? Same for Tiger Woods with motionplus.

Sorcery looked awful to me, like something Red Fly would make on Wii. Characterless with some gestures, flick to attack. If you're into that then you should be more interested in a game with a proper world and characters like the Harry Potter games, which have had wand waving for years now. Sorcery had tons of auto aim, the dude was basically waggling to have the bolts auto aim at the enemies.

Nothing they showed in terms of control is anything better than what we already have in Red Steel 2, punching the ground for instance.

This conference was good, only a little workman like at times. Sony conferences are always a little too droll at times, too much talking PR stuff. We want the games, bam, bam, bam, one after the other.

Although they highlighted good content better than the MS conference, all the Kinect stuff, whilst irrelevant to me, it was still interesting to see where they were going. Therefore Nintendo> MS> Sony for me at this E3.

Yeah, it was pretty funny the dude was there saying stuff like IT"S ALL ABOUT THE GAMES, GAMING RAWR, GAMES! Then they just kept talking. Talking.  Mentioning games by title, not showing them. Talking. Where are the games!!!!

THAT'S WHY I DIDN'T LIKE SOCERY!!!!  My first thought was, "why is Sony showing off a Harry Potter game?"  I had the sound off since I was on the phone with my boss and when I turned back to the screen - BOOM! Harry Potter on the screen.  And as we all know. . . Harry Potter sucks.

Didn't watch the conference.  Can somebody please tell me if there was anything shown of or even said about "The Last Guardian"?

If it was Harry Potter it could have been great and EA will start doing Move/Wii potters no doubt.
