That's pretty cool. It seems to be a regular emergency plan disguised as a zombie one, though.

The authors favorite zombie movie is Resident Evil. He is a moron.

And they forgot a major step, GUNS GUNS GUNS. My dad has that covered.

OTTAWA — Two Canadians died instantly in a freak accident when a car hit a 440-pound black bear and sent the animal flying straight through the windshield of an oncoming vehicle, local media said on Wednesday. The bear's body hit the 25-year-old driver and a 40-year-old man sitting behind her and then shot out of the back window. The bear also died. The accident happened on Monday night in a rural area about 25 miles north of the federal capital Ottawa. "We don't see (this) often, even if we live in the country. Lots of deer, but collisions with a bear and two people died? That's really rare," local police spokesman Martin Fournel told the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. Collisions between vehicles and animals are common in Canada, which has a healthy population of large wild animals such as moose and deer.

It probably has quite a few surprises in there for those of you who don't live in the states.

You guys hearing about the aussie girl that had a bomb strapped to her neck by someone who invaded her home in a balaclava? Bomb turned out to be fake.

I suspect that this was some stunt pulled with her knowledge as a publicity stunt, is she some aspiring actress or something? It all sounds too ridiculous.

Fox News' Lies Keep Them Out of Canada

By Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Reader Supported News

01 March 11

rsn-A.jpgs America's middle class battles for its survival on the Wisconsin barricades - against various Koch Oil surrogates and the corporate toadies at Fox News - fans of enlightenment, democracy and justice can take comfort from a significant victory north of the Wisconsin border. Fox News will not be moving into Canada after all! The reason: Canadian regulators announced last week they would reject efforts by Canada's right-wing Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, to repeal a law that forbids lying on broadcast news.

Canada's Radio Act requires that "a licenser may not broadcast ... any false or misleading news." The provision has kept Fox News and right-wing talk radio out of Canada and helped make Canada a model for liberal democracy and freedom. As a result of that law, Canadians enjoy high quality news coverage, including the kind of foreign affairs and investigative journalism that flourished in this country before Ronald Reagan abolished the "Fairness Doctrine" in 1987. Political dialogue in Canada is marked by civility, modesty, honesty, collegiality, and idealism that have pretty much disappeared on the US airwaves. When Stephen Harper moved to abolish the anti-lying provision of the Radio Act, Canadians rose up to oppose him fearing that their tradition of honest non-partisan news would be replaced by the toxic, overtly partisan, biased and dishonest news coverage familiar to American citizens who listen to Fox News and talk radio. Harper's proposal was timed to facilitate the launch of a new right-wing network, "Sun TV News" which Canadians call "Fox News North."

Harper, often referred to as "George W. Bush's Mini Me," is known for having mounted a Bush-like war on government scientists, data collectors, transparency, and enlightenment in general. He is a wizard of all the familiar tools of demagoguery; false patriotism, bigotry, fear, selfishness and belligerent religiosity.

Harper's attempts to make lying legal on Canadian television are a stark admission that right-wing political ideology can only dominate national debate through dishonest propaganda. Since corporate profit-taking is not an attractive vessel for populism, a political party or broadcast network that makes itself the tool of corporate and financial elites must lie to make its agenda popular with the public. In the Unites States, Fox News and talk radio, the sock puppets of billionaires and corporate robber barons, have become the masters of propaganda and distortion on the public airwaves. Fox News' notoriously biased and dishonest coverage of the Wisconsin's protests is a prime example of the brand of news coverage Canada has smartly avoided.

You know, as a counterfeiter, you may be setting your sites pretty low.

Usually we do things like fake luxury hand bags, money, software, DVDs...

In Australia we counterfeit LAUNDRY DETERGENT.

A MASSIVE quantity of counterfeit washing powder has been found in Sydney's south-west today.

Police found 33 tonnes of the fake white powder in storage units in south west Sydney at an industrial estate in Chipping Norton.

Officers found 3760 nine-kilo buckets of washing detergent inside the premises. The square pails were labelled as OMO, but police will allege they contain an inferior counterfeit powder.

Two men are currently assisting police with their inquiries and are expected to be charged with possess/sell goods with false trademark.

It will be alleged the men imported bags of detergent and OMO-branded buckets separately from China. They then filled the buckets and allegedly sold them to convenience stores in south-west Sydney and holders of market stalls.

Funny thing about that. It turned out to be legit.  The bomb was fake, but the threat and demand for ransom was real. Poor girl.

A 52-year-old man from Sydney, Australia, was arrested Monday afternoon in Louisville for his alleged role in a hoax in which a fake collar bomb was tied to the neck of an 18-year-old woman, Sydney's Daily Telegraph's Mark Morri reports. The FBI and Australian are jointly investigating the case, and the man in Louisville hasn't been charged. Australia is expected to apply for his extradition. On August 3, Madeleine Pulver spent 10 hours with what appeared to be a bomb strapped around her neck after a man wearing a ski mask broke into her family's home in Sydney. The man wanted to extort money from Pulver's family; her father is a wealthy businessman. link

Don't want to be a space hater or anything, but what's the big deal with the Mars things today? Didn't we already do this in the 70's and then again in the '90's.

yeah

So why is everyone acting like it's a new Zelda at E3?
