I've got 1,000 Wii points that I'm trying to figure out what to spend it on.  I've been looking through the games and nothing is really grabbing me, except for maybe Cave Story (which is 1200 - doh!).

I'm not real interested in the Mega Man games or Contra Rebirth so don't bother mentioning those. If you've played something good that I've missed, suggest it.  Here's a list of what I have as far as WiiWare goes:

The Magic Obelisk
Bit.Trip Beat
World of Goo
Art Style: light trax
BIT.TRIP RUNNER
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
Rage of the Gladiator
NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits
Jett Rocket
Art Style: ORBIENT
Bomberman Blast
Defend Your Castle
Dr. Mario Online Rx
Harvest Moon: My Little Shop
LostWinds
Grill-Off with Ultra Hand! (worst game ever, even for a free one)
Learning with The Poo Yoo's
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King

I actually bought Ogre Battle 64 a few days ago. . . and I can't figure it out. At least I think that's the problem.

The Ogre Battle games have never had the easiest menus to navigation and with no in-game tutorial it's been a little hard to figure out. The instructions they give with the download aren't real helpful either. Kind of hard to try and read them as you play.  Anyway I've been trying to wing it, but I've died twice now during the first mission and since I can't figure out how to save the game I'm forced to start from the beginning each time.

As you've probably guess, I'm stupid. And lazy.

At some point I will go get a FAQ and learn how to actually play it, but really I'm just looking for sometime to tide me over for a few days until DQ IX comes out on Sunday. Once that game comes out I likely won't touch anything else, and frankly I will probably forget how to play this game during that time.

Castlevania Rebirth?

GG will say Lost Winds 2.

Cave Story is fantastic but I know how annoying it is when you have an odd amount of Wii points.

No Lost Winds 2.  I really enjoyed the first one, but for some reason the sequel just doesn't appeal to me even though it seems like it'd be better in every way.

Castlevania Rebirth looks like the front runner. I've been considering Darklord too.  I'll look into both a little more tonight.

Ass?  I think what you mean to say it, "that's fine if you don't want the game. I will bow down to your superior wisdom."

No. No. No. You got it all wrong! What he means to say is: "I respect the fact that you would not want this game and I am now going to bend over and let Leo ravage my Ass."

I think that was the first VC game I ever bought with the Wii.  Good times right there.  I've pretty much got all the VC games I want at this point in time though so that's why I'm just looking at WiiWare games right now.

POO-YOO!!!! POO-YOO!!! and not Poo-You for that matter.

It's a pre-school game.  Got it for the boy. It held his interest for about 30 minutes. There's not even challenge for a 3 year old in this game. So now he's back to anything with Mario in it.

I'm probably going to sit on the points now that DQ is going to be in my hands shortly.  Niccalis finally looks like they're getting ready to move on Night Sky (aka the Night Game) and that's the game I've been waiting forever.  Odds are I'll just wait on that. However should DQ IX be finished before then I'll probably grab Castlevania or Tetris Party.

Not really.  It's got the "broken Tetris" style infinite spinning.

I'm the same.  Haven't really enjoyed Tetris since Tetris DX on gameboy color
