Release: February 11, 2025
Borderlands 4 has been announced for a 2025 release!
*Jumps around randomly in happiness!*
Good times, man. Good times.
Both written and directed by Uwe Boll.
You both take that back. Right now!
But not by Uwe Boll. That would be bad.
Well you convinced me.
It's obviously by the Snowrunner team, only this time you have to use construction vehicles to reshape and build back up, disaster ravished regions.
Looks cool, should have called it something "Runner" related.
Need to get Expeditions if it ever comes to Switch 2.
Drugrunner should be a Switch 2 launch game.
Now gametrailers is subbed on YouTube I'm being bombarded with gamescom trailers and I have to watch every single one.
My God, maybe I've not paid attention recently but most games come under 1 of 3 caregories:
Souls like. Fuck me, endless soulslike games
Zombie games, Zombies everywhere, fighting more Zombies
Games trying to recreate the "Alien" movie experience in games form.
Outside of that, a few cozy games and sim games.
Infinity Jennifer looked the most interesting to me, mostly because it was batshit crazy.
Good stuff overall, not as good as the OG trilogy but still well worth it.
Moved onto Dual Destinies and ugh, I was afraid of this but the move to crude 3d character models seems a downgrade from the HQ 2D art the other remakes use.
The Great Ace Attorney has 3D models but they are much higher quality and blend well with the 2D backgrounds.
I think I'll get over it, but I wish they had used 2D models for these remakes.
And physically only on PS4 in Europe. What is this shit?
They're still fecking around with this series all these years later.
I had to import the OG DS games from the US and Asia.
I had to import, all 3 of the remakes now from Asia and the US again.
I glad to see some publishers are starting to understand that games with single player need to be playable forever. 👍
Now I have to buy Famicom Detective club and then Emio.
It's just like the investigation parts from the Ace Attorney series.
It's not wacky, but it one ups Ace Attorney on a few levels. Full voice acting (Japanese)
Great 3D character models that look convincingly 2D. More characters onscreen at once.
Better music, I don't mean the tracks are nicer than Ace Attorney but they also don't sound like old MIDI tracks either.
BTW a ton of demos have been dropping on the Switch shoo in the past few weeks.
