I'll probably end up downloading it by the end of the week.
I won't be playing it, as the World of Harry Potter never really appealed to me, but to those who do dive in I hope you enjoy it.
Yeah, heard she was quite chatty. Beautiful looking game though. Really need to get back into it.
I see your news post up there. Welcome aboard the StarTropics 3 hype train.
Completed The Suicide of Rachel Foster.
Hands down the best "walking simulator" narrative adventure I've played.
Deeply affecting story, great voice acting. Some messed up shit too.
The hotel you explore is a magnificent game world to me. It's impeccably restrained, yet has so much character.
You only have a paper map yet despite the large place I rarely got lost. There's tons of Secret areas to explore.
Endings kinda messed up though. Game deserves a lot of praise, tackles some controversial subjects. Whilst I can't agree with some of the themes, it's compelling to see it from a complex, different, angle, and the tragedy that ensues.
If you ever see it on sale again for the 2 Bucks I paid for it, just get it.
It's the kind of game I'll be thinking about several days from now. Relatively quick to beat too. Did it in a day and a half, but you might be able to do it on a single day.
Only, this is seriously the blurriest visuals I've ever seen. Then there are 3 different vision modes (think Metroid visors) only they almost make you blind to the point where you can't see shit.
It's just annoying. Not sure if I'm going to make it through this.
This can only mean one thing. Nintendo will anounce a new Fzero after more tha' 20 years.
It's just blindingly obvious.
More Blackadder?
That doesn't sound good!
It's a severe case of typing on my phone after having turned off autocorrect because it had annoyed me one time too many.
No I mean rebooting a perfect work of art that doesn't need a follow-up.
I've been playing Judgement 2 on PS2. Finished The Quarry and Last of Us Part 2.
ALso playing TMNT: Turtles in Time on the SNES. I was rolling through it but now having trouble beating Shredder (you have to throw enemies into the screen -- toward the player -- and it's not easy).
My current nerd mission is trying to hack the Retonr 77 so I can load it up with all the Atari 2600 games I legitimately own (So I can play them via HDMI).
The Retron 77, for those not familiar is a way to play original Atari carts on HDMI.
Australian Hardware Review - Hyperkin Retron 77 — Game Under Podcast
These things are always a massive rabbit hole of learning.
From the comedians that brought you "we couldn't make that anymore today!!", comes proof that it could but under no circumstances should be made today!
Observer looks decent in handheld mode. It's virtually unplayable on a 4ktv for me.
The OLED works too, as the enhanced colours makes everything look a bit richer.
Not quite sold on the gameplay so far, there's been a plague in the past. So your locked in this apartment complex and all the citizens are either locked down or won't answer their doors.
So you spend a lot of time standing in front of closed doors listening to voice actors.
The Cynical part of me thinks it's a lazy way the developers thought of so they didn't have to render and animate lots of character models.
But the genre itself seems to be a fan of rigidly being determined to never show you a whole, moving human being.
There's also been a few times where articles open on computer screens. They are Suprisingly long winded and very difficult to read with tiny text on a handheld screen.
Oh definitely. It'll be an absolute trainwreck.
I skipped the Retron 77 since I have a composite modded Atari 7800 and a flash cartridge. I probably should get a Retotink 2X or 5X, though. Would improve my setup quite a bit.
I thought that Nintendo would wait until their next system before increasing the price of their games.
