Anyone see that crazy Netflix RE show, I binged it already. It's totally nuts, has little to do with the games but tries to still be canon. Lance Reddick as "Wesker" works though, he is a shining light in a pile of shit. Still though it has its moments, acting by the kids was pretty good. I laughed at some of the stupidity, guess that's something. Definetly better than that horrible movie we just got.
Still playing Horizon FW which NEVER ENDS. Im happy to see Bayonetta get a release date, I'll be on that day one. And two weeks after is god of war, nice stretch of games.
Better Call Saul probably put out the best episode of the whole series. A testament to how good it is when you know how it's going to play out but it still has you on the edge of your seat. The show is phenomenal and with five episodes left its possible that they will put out an ever better episode before it's over.
Watched the first episode of the Netflix Resident Evil show. Donβt think I have the fortitude to suffer through anymore of it. Lance Reddick is definitely the best part of it.
Yeah that kind of heat is awful. When I lived in Texas each summer we would get a heat wave where it would last like that for about 2 weeks. I can share a couple tips for you. Not sure how useful they all are, since I suspect central air conditioning might not be as common but still might help all the same.
1. Keep the windows to your car cracked open just a bit. If there's too much pressure against the tops of them, the heat can actually crystallize the glass and shatter it.
2. Keep a cold drink handy at all times.
3. Take a quick shower if you're ever getting overheated. Just being wet will make your body temperature dissipate quicker. Pools work too, but I suspect that might not necessarily be an option.
4. Definitely take that short quick shower right before bed, and don't towel off.
5. Just try to sit in a dark room and do nothing if you can.
We had that kind of heat for about two weeks in June. It's miserable. You want to go outdoors and do some yard work but you dont dare. I cannot stess how important it is to stay hydrated.
This summer has been a lot hotter than usual in Colorado too. I usually don't need to use my air conditioner until August but I had to install it early June this year.
I have one of those Nintendo USB WIFI connectors somewhere. I used it on my DS for about a year. It was fiddly but it worked okay enough until I got real WIFI.
Yeah if I need to clarify that, I meant to leave the windows cracked while the car is parked and not in use.
This definitely won't happen. No one leaves their windows open when it's that hot here (which isn't that rare), and no one's windows break as a result.
Is airconditioning common in Belgium? Apparently it isn't in England.
Pretty much. Anyone who builds or renovates these days will install one, at least for the bedrooms. A lot of people also have it installed without any other works. We don't have one personally as I feel we can stillvery well do without and they use a lot of energy.

Air conditioning here is mostly for offices and shops. Most homes don't have them.
There have been wildfires in London and the south east. Large areas have been burning. Nothing on the scale of America or Australia yet but still affected a wide area. People losing their homes in minutes out of nowhere.
I have a confession to make. I'm embarrassed by this but I want this to serve as a warning to all here on this site. We were in Hilton Head the last three days. On the last night, we were searching for some place local to eat at. The places we found had a wait of about two hours snd it was raining outside. With starving kids, waiting that long for a table wasnt really an option, so we found another place. You know where this is going, we ended up at Olive Garden. I immediately regretted it. Those warnings that Robio has given, his disdain for the place, heed his advice. I knew of the dangers and proceeded. I wish I hadn't.
I get desperate measures are required in desperate times, but come on man. Wasn't there a gas station that had hot dogs under a heat lamp? That would have been the safer bet.

That epsiode!!! And we have more!! It's amazing.
I didn't realize Lance Reddick is playing Wesker. I may have to check it out.

Not that I need it in a mere 40 degrees, pfft.
GG, keep your car windows shut, unless English cars don't have AC, too.
While parked?
Interesting time for my sister to go to England. I can't imagine 40 degrees. It doesn't even get to 30 here. It does get very humid though.
