Still the Good Life and Metroid Dread (just collecting the last of the items before I finish it), but I also started Gran Turismo 7 which so far has all the magic it needs to live up to the 25 year anniversary. Can't believe how good it looks and how well it runs on PS4, too. Honestly, I'd only want it on PS5 for the loading times and lower fan noise (I assume), but GT5 makes these loading times seem super fast so I'm not minding them at all.
It was all Elden Ring for me this weekend. This game is huge. Always interesting stuff that you want to go and explore. Such a wonderfully crafted world.
I started Stranger's Wrath HD on Switch. I've always wanted to play this ever since release so I'm pretty stocked I've actually, finally, gotten around to it. So far it's pretty enjoyable although clearly showing its age.
That's another game I always wanted to play but never got around to. I didn't like any of the oddworld games though, so as interested as I was, I just didn't want to get disappointed again.
Omg just completed Enter the gungeon as the marine and got the true ending.
This game is so damn good, so many secrets and stuff. I've never checked my phone so often to find what the best guns and items to get.
I still have to complete it with several other characters. Then there are several more characters to unlock. Then I haven't even seen the 6th floor with Lich.
Haven't seen the rat guys floor.
This run only took over an hour.
You know there are no restrictions in the game. If you were good enough you could literally go to the end boss in around an hour and complete the game in one run.
But it will probably take, we'll in my case over 130 hours to get good enough. And I focused on the achievable objectives first like unlocking the lifts.
So hear me out. In Enter the gungeon you can get buddies as items. Like a little robot, skeleton, space ship, space turtle.
It's like a mini buddy that fires weak shots and is invincible. He's there to help you out.
So I picked up this badge item from a chest and it spawned a little black cop in uniform on the verge of retirement š
It's Danny Glover from Lethal Weapon. And best of all, unlike most sidekicks, you can talk to him and he spouts old movie like quotes as a cop on the verge of retirement. It's amazing š

Cowabunga dudes! Konami is actually bringing out a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collection. A whole bunch of Turtle Power is coming your way sometime this year. Day one purchase for me.

The TMNT collection is a lot better than I expected. That's as thorough of a release as you could have done for that era. Plus, I'm just excited to have Tournament Fighters back. I think that was my favorite non Street Fighter fighting game from back then. The super Nintendo one anyway, the Genesis one was actually pretty awful if I remember correctly.

Yeah solid collection indeed. Always wanted this collection but never actually expected it. I loved the SNES Tournament Fighters as well. Very nice to see it included as well.

I might get this. I only played one of the TMNT arcade games once; I never owned any of them on home consoles back in the day.
Turtles in Time is most excellent. Even the Gameboy games are pretty solid fun. I highly recommend this collection to anyone.
I had forgotten about this, but I played the TMNT arcade game a ton, in the arcade, but never quite beat it. My best friend and I got up to shredder once and then we both ran out of quarters. That was a sad day.
I spent many, many quarters on the arcade game. Donatello was my main because of his long reach. I beat it once at an arcade at a flea market with three of my buddies.

Nintendo announces postponement of Advanced War 1 + 2: Boot Camp
History repeating itself. The original GBA game got postphoned because of real world events as well when it first released.
Was it 9/11?

Maybe that's the game we need to play in order to end the war.

Booyakasha! Co-op night in our future?
Iād say most likely.

Of course the NES version utilizes the Konami code.
TBH the only games I have any nostalgia for are Turtles in Time and Tournament fighters.
But it will probably drop to under Ā£4 in the sale, same as the contra and Castlevania collections.
