Now if only Famicom Detective Club was discounted.

I looked through the store to buy deponia snd tge prices were ridiculously high. $30 for most games. $70 for games given away for free on Amazon prime. No Bueno.

I've been vacationing in Pensacola this week and we ventured into New Orleans yesterday.  Beautiful city.  I'd love to go back soon.

Do you mean Amazon of the eshop? Most games are discounted by 70 to 90% off in the sales. I picked up all 4 Deponia games for like £10. You have to wishlist stuff and keep checking the eshop. I have 175 games on my wishlist. What I've worked out is that you might see a game discounted by 50% one week. Then several weeks later the same game will go on sale at 75% off. So you have to keep checking. Edit - I see you meant amazon. They sell Japanese Phoenix Wright trilogy physical I think it's £44. In the sale the eshop has it for half that.

Enjoying Syberia 3 a lot, I think it's now become my favourite of the series. The story has injected some more peril, lots more distinctive characters which are much better realised and animated in 3D. The cutscenes are really good and dynamic. The whole atmosphere of the game has been enhanced with excellent music and melancholic locations. I even fought a sea monster. Glad I picked this one up.

No I'm talking Aussie switch shop, everything is super expensive. The Amazon reference was to the free games Amazon gives you for being a prime member. Like Movin Out is $70 on switch eshop and free on Amazon prime games. My main point is Aussie switch eshop is ridiculous.

I came onto ZZ top pretty late as a kid and thought they were a gimmick band at the time "yeah I get it you have beards" but later realised they had some talent. Sorry for your loss robes.

My wife has a rule that tends to be pretty accurate "if a band was great in the '70s, then they were awful in the '80s." And when you go down that list, there are very few exceptions. The rolling stones, Fleetwood mac, the cars, the truly awful music that Glenn Frey and Don Henley put out after the eagles broke up...ZZ Top was no exception to that rule. But to their credit, playing up the beard gimmick and being "those beard guys" is what help them survive during the MTV era.

Anyway, I don't knock anyone that wasn't into them, considering most people's introduction was th video for Legs. But they were definitely a talented band. Dusty Hill and Frank Beard were one of the Great rhythm sections of all time, while Billy Gibson was quietly the most underrated guitarist ever. Jimi Hendrix while he was alive said Gibson was his favorite guitarist, so that's got to mean something.

Anyway, rest in peace Beard Guy #2.  You will be missed.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is awesome, though my flying needs improvement.  I crashed in front of my house.

it looks so good. That could almost convince me to go Xbox when I inevitably upgrade to a new system.

I don't have the game myself, but I read a tip over at EG to try out the icon a5 plane. It's slow, easy to fly and can land both on land and water, making it ideal for siteseeing.

have you tried creating a secondary account with a different nationality as to acces a different eshop? I've hear of people doing so, apparently it's pretty easy.

just add the games you want to your wishlist. Games often get up to 90% discounts in the sales. Every week there are around 800 games on sale. The big AAA games, especially Nintendo games don't get big discounts. But everything else does. If you can't be bothered to trawl through the current offers page there are 2 great YouTube channels which do a video each week on the best games on sale. Switch UP and Switch Corner.

Takes patience. I waited months for the Journey Down trilogy to drop. Take two games get slashed regularly, if you ever wanted portable Bioshock or Borderlands for £6.70 or £16 for the trilogy.  Bethesda games sometimes get 50% off but it's rare. Capcom stuff get discounted fairly regularly, £6 ish for the Resident Evil games and they are good ports, especially 5 with motion controls too. Phoenix Wright trilogy went to £20 a couple of weeks ago. Should have nabbed it but I still have the DS games.
