No Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, or anything related to Xenoblade Chronicles was pretty disappointing but there was some really good stuff and some cool surprises. Enjoyed the Nintendo conference myself.
Well Nintendo was meh mostly. Metroid Dread is great, nice surprise, coming this year. It's Mercury steam so I may be wary but I'll get it.
BOTW2 same map but more in the sky? 5 years for a Zelda game happens but usually it's a totally new game, new graphics, new locations, totally new mechanics, new music and so on. But this is just the same assets, looks like the same map and they took 5 years?!? Why? There better be some crazy amazing new features in this game. I'll love it of course but I'm still hoping for real dungeons.
no other Zelda product other than a damn game and watch is a slap in the face. What a horrible 35th anniversary.
No switch pro, no RE, no Bayo 3, lots of nos. Everything else they showed doesn't really interest me. Another barren year for switch for me.
There was 25 minutes of NMH3 gameplay in a Treehouse direct, or whatever they're called. Basically you fight 9 aliens in what seems like a very similar game to the first 2 entries.

The BOTW dlc probably took a year after it released. Maybe Skyward Sword port is also taking up time? It's probably that BOTW took so much work they didn't want to just throw the map away. We don't know how big the cloud world is, maybe not re-doing the overworld has allowed them to do proper dungeons this time? *shrugs*

We also don't know how big a part Hyrule will play in the game. Might well be that 70% or more takes place above and bellow.
Wtf, Metro Last Light REDUX is on sale on switch for £2.24
Metro 2033 REDUX is £7.87
All Doom games and Wolfenstein are 50% off
Oxen free £2.69
After party £7.10
Journey Down trilogy £12.59
True fear games £3.14
Roki £8.99
This is gonna be one expensive hobo weekend 😁
Metro Last Light is £2.24 here like under 5 dollars. Its crazy. The eshop shows how long each game is on sale for. I just buy cheap, download later most of the time. This big sale runs for the next 10 days. According to the news section.
There are so many games on the switch sale I've had to make a huge list and have to cross out quite a few games on sale that I actually want. What's Wolfenstein Young blood like BTW. Is it a spin off? Does it have a proper single player campaign?
Edit: yikes, not great reviews.
So best stuff I could see is: Metro Last Light £2.27
The Journey Down £2.20
The Journey Down Trilogy £12.59
Oxen free £2.69
Roki £8.99
But there's tons of other stuff, basically every Bethesda game is 50% off, including Skyrim, Doom etc. Every Take two game is on sale, Bioshock Infinite etc £6
Witcher 3 £18
The Dark Eye games £8.99 each
Not to mention games I already own which are on sale like the EXCELLENT The DarkSide Detective.
Hey, guys, hope everything's been going well. I made a new account, since the password reset email never reached me.
Managed to get a Series X several weeks ago, and am enjoying Quick Resume. Been obsessing over Hollow Knight, and going through the main RE games. RE6 sucks and I'm having to drag myself through it. CVX isn't as straightforward as RE1-RE3, so it's dragging a bit, too.
Enjoyed E3 info somewhat. Looking forward to the Zelda sequel and Metroid Dread (FINALLY!!!) from Nintendo. If it were a few years ago, I would also be a lock for Advance Wars. For Xbox, I can confidently say I'll be getting Halo Infinite, Elden Ring, and RE Village. As a Dead Space fan, I also want to hear more about Callisto Project. Was there anything about that one at E3 this year, so far?
Hollow Knight has me wanting to get more into indie games. Unfortunately, HK is among the cream of the crop, so I spoiled myself. I'm wanting to get Blasphemous, the Bloodstained games, Stardew Valley, and Rivals of Aether.

Stardew Valley is excellent. Best Harvest Moon in years. The character portraits are kind of rough, but other than that it's great. And with all the updates the dev has done over the years, it's super rich in content.
Bloodstained is good. Still felt like a bit of a letdown and not as good as the Castlevania games that inspired it. The first Guacamelee is actually a better metroidvania game in my opinion.
Try the SteamWorld games too if they're available. They're awesome.
Shovel Knight is quite good too if you haven't gotten around to it yet.

Botw2 pics
Very disappointing but considering they are hard at working helping with Breath of the Wild 2 it is understandable.
True, but that's a different developer.

The Metro games are $8.75 a piece. That's tempting. I wonder how long the sale last until.
