So what did everyone play this weekend?
I didn't get up to much on the gaming front. Summer decided to no longer wait for Spring to show up and we went from cold rainy weather on Friday to +20°C and blue skies Saturday.
I did play the mandatory couple of hours of MH Iceborne, in which we continued to be pummelled by Fatalis. The rest of my gaming consisted of a few rounds of Splatoon. I'm pleased to say that I was in rather good shape and snagged a lot of victories.
Finished Cloudpunk and started the "sequel-length" DLC which I'm meant to be reviewing.
All in all an enjoyable experience. Might be worth checking out , GG; very much got an adventure game vibe to it in terms of the interestingness of the characters and richness of settings, but instead of puzzles you're delivering packages or ferrying people around taxi-style.
I read a good review of it but I saw a video on Sunday saying the performance on switch is bad. Switch up checks out patches so maybe they'll fix it. I completed Nine Witches and started Queens Quest 3, a first person adventure game.So what's the point of these dashcams?
I'm maybe halfway done with Ghost of Tsushima. Maybe
Apparently the graphics are downgraded too, so that's a disappointment if it runs poorly.
Intriguing!
I just played Monster Hunter Rise this past weekend. Beat the main storyline boss for the ending and did a bunch more of the new harder quests that came along with the recent updates as well as a few Valstrax runs. Fun stuff.
I watch Switch UP! Channel on YouTube and they have videos where they go back to released games to see what affect the patches make. In some cases they release the games in a bad state and massively improve it, like Ghost runner.
Basically I drive a lot and since the covid restrictions people are driving like utter dick heads in my area. Someone clipped my wing mirror while I was sitting in the car and drove off before I could see the car or get a licence plate. But I've also had multiple instances of getting cut up or overtaken dangerously. Even had head on collisions almost happening with assholes driving towards me. So to save on an expensive insurance excess payout I can now prove who caused an accident. But I also intend on shopping these assholes to the police. If it makes a difference for the insurance I could see it being usefull. I doubt the police does anything with footage they get sent though.
On a related note: they should just retract the driver's license of anyone driving a mercedes. No proof needed. Police could set up shop next to Mercedes garages. You buy a car, drive off the parkway, get pulled over and hand your license over to the cops.
I'm shocked Ghostrunner is on the Switch in any form at all!
They do, you can upload to police websites. I find its always German mid-range cars that are assholes, BMW then Mercedes and Audi. Then 4x4s and Ford Transit vans. Moped drivers and cyclists can endanger themselves too.GG will be rolling in the dough.
Just think of all the $2 adventure games he'll be able to buy!
