The wife and I were playing Tetris99 together yesterday (as in, at the same time on 2 seperate switch's) and if you start a game at the same time, you have a very high chance of ending up in the same game.
I'm the better player, so this resulted in her commentating on my game when there were only a few people left. Things were speeding up and with only 3 contestants left I was stacked all the way up to the top line, managed a comeback, the wife was letting me know the other 2 were screwing up, ... There was this great ebb and flow to the game. By that time both the kids had come over to look over my shoulders and were cheering me on. And to top it off I came in 1st.
Such a great game, such drama within every game. I love it.
Tetris99 is a lot of fun, but honestly it hasn't entirely clicked with me. I need to sit down and actually read or watch how The game is meant to be played. I know I'm pretty damn good, but I've yet to come in any lower than ranked 20 But that's probably because I'm still trying to play it like standard Tetris and ignoring the battle portion so to speak.
All you need to do is save up lines and just before you cash them in hit up with the left stick to target those who are near to KO. The more kills you rack up, the more junk lines you send to who you are targeting.
Prioretize sending junk early on, staying low in the endgame.
One joystick allows automatic selection based on who is ahead or struggling, the other let's you target specific boards yourself, but who has time to do that?!
There's bonus content included Louie and Olimar that I've never played. You are trying to collect money to save the corporation that you work for from sinking. Besides that, it seems the same. Still looks great to me though some textures are a little flat.

Well, I just learned a little bit on how to more properly play Tetris99 from those posts. Thanks. 👍
I would change up my targeting aspect but I think that I was just kind of doing it randomly.
Pikmin 3 is so good. It's been so long since I've played this that it feels almost like a new game. Every change that they made is better.
KFC is getting into the gaming business? With a chicken warmer? That controller is going to be greasy.
I couldn't imagine the nightmare of cooling down a system with its own warmer.
Finger lickin’ good!
Controller lickin' good!
Happy Toy Day to you, GG! May you receive lots of toys.
