It's my go to game these days.  More and more I don't want to bother with a 'real' game with a story arc, cutscenes, ...  I just want to sit down for 10 minutes and waste some time and then something like Tetris99 is a godsend.

Wrestler Jon Huber, aka Luke Harper, aka Brodie Lee passed away yesterday at age 41 from a non-Covid related lung issue.

Such sad news. R.I.P. Jon Huber. 😔

I don't know who he is, but 41 is no age to go.

I've started spending more time with Mario 35 as my go-to "time killer." It's very rare I don't end up in the top two, and I'd like to think it's because I'm good, but I'm fairly sure it's just because the majority of people playing are young kids who've never really spent much time with the original game and have very little clue what they're doing.

I'm also getting towards the end of The Last of Us 2. And I really hope that Last of Us TV show gets made, and maybe the people behind this game can finally get the desire to make movies or TV out of their system. While the action in this is still fun, it's maddening how many cinematic scenes there are in this. Kills the momentum every single time.

How many hours have you put into it.

Yeah that news about Brodie Lee really is horrible. I only casually pay attention to wrestling these days, but from everything I've seen he was finally getting his break and a shot to be a main event guy only to get an injury and then this. Not to mention that he was super young. Anyway, it's terrible all the way around.

Which game?

Last of Us 2, I'm 20 or 21 hours in.

Mario 35, probably only half a dozen.

Don’t sell yourself short, you’ve made to number 2 because you’re great. Trust me I know as I have made it into the top two a few times myself and I too am great. LOL

Yeah very sad indeed. He just recently signed on with AEW and is the leader of the Dark Order faction and everything was really looking good for both him and the group. I’m really wondering how things are going to from here now. It’s just a big lose all around.

I read the completion times were 25 to 30 hours, but I wouldn't be surprised if I go a little bit over that. I was just kind of hoping it would be wrapped up sooner.

generally I wasn't a fan of AEW. Not to sound like an old guy, but there's just too much "choreographed flippy shit." As a rule I preferhurting themselves. But that's why I liked Brodie Lee. I watched his dog collar match a few weeks ago and, everything he did looked good.

This weekend it was Animal Crossing and Yakuza: Like a Dragon for me. Found an older woman NPC who offered to give me a honk-honk for 50,000 yen. She said that today was my lucky day as I could be a “Grandma’s boy”. She was put off that I turned her down and asked me if it was because her flapjacks were too flappy for me. Oh me, oh my. LOL

Yeah I totally understand that feeling. I watch AEW pretty regularly but so much of it is that flippy spot monkey type stuff. The setting up for spots can be very noticeable. I watched that dog collar match and loved it. I really enjoy just the basic hard hitting big guy stuff and Brodie Lee always did that quite well.

That dog collar match with Cody was his last match. It was just after that when he was diagnosed with that lung issue and had been off of tv ever since.
