I finished Whispers of a Machine and started The Red String Club.
I've also been playing the stealth game Dirt Rally, in which you have to hide from the Lancia Stratos as it stalks you, wielding the terrifying weapon: snap oversteer. To complement it, I've also been playing the fashion simulator NFS: Heat, in which I'm looking fabulous:
I played through Gorogoa (meh), renewed my subscription to PlayStation Now so I could check out Days Gone, but ended up playing Golden Axe. Mainly I just watched the new season of Unsolved Mysteries.
Now I have to run around a volcano hard tapping buttons in furious qtes to... Punch, kick and push... a boulder into a volcano. You can see this shit seeping into re5 which eventually led to the car crash that is re6.
It was messy but so epic. RE6 was even worse in the messy department.
So still getting through Squadrons, when you are in that VR cockpit there is nothing like it. The experience is fantastic I just have a hard time getting time to do VR. I can't block myself out of the world when I have my grandmother and such, I try to squeeze in play when she sleeps.
Most of the time I am playing Genshin Impact, I finished the worst area which was the "prologue" even though it's like 20 hours of content. Fought this big old dragon boss, very simplistic but cool in scale. I got to rank 20 and unlocked most of the challenge dungeons. These new challenge dungeons seem no different than the challenge markers I see around the world.
The spiral abyss seemed like an endurance dungeon but it quickly became apparent the game is all about leveling up and not developing better strategy. I destroyed the first level with no issue, I like that there are buffs and the like to add some form of variety but the combat is so basic there isn’t much to change. It’s all just switching from one to the other and creating the elemental combos and dashing around avoiding being hit. Waiting for cool downs, that’s it. So I reached the next level with level 40 enemies and while I was able to beat them no problem it would take forever because I was under leveled. So it wasn’t worth it cause of the timer. And that’s not fun, a game that simply gates you on stats.
I did find this crazy cube boss out in the world that had a ton of cool attacks so at least there seems to be new enemies. I know there are even more moves to unlock but not sure it will change much. It plays like an action game but definitely has the heart of an RPG but one with little strategy needed. But the world continues to be the standout. The characters are lovable enough to get by. The game has so much random shit everywhere that it’s easy to just lose yourself in it and forget that you are mostly just doing the same things over and over. Genshin has the depth of a puddle but it’s the largest most beautiful puddle out there
3-D Allstars is getting inverted controls. I was fine without it, but it was an odd choice for Nintendo to leave it out considering Mario 64 is probably the reason most people prefer inverted.
Omg that new chi Resident evil has pictured Leon and Claire. They look like mutants https://gonintendo.com/stories/371532-netflix-shares-a-couple-stills-from-resident-evil-infinite-darkn
No More Heroes 1 and 2 will be available on the Nintendo eShop for the Switch today. Never played the games myself but I am interested in checking them out.

What?? How??? oh wait, now that I think about it they did port them to PS3 later down the line and removed all the Wiimote features. Too bad. They were actually very well implemented.
At any rate, the first one is pretty good. Amazing boss battles. A lot of people didn't like the open world since it was pretty empty, or the side jobs you had to do in order to earn money. But I thought it actually helped the pacing quite a bit. Always ensured you had a lot of down time before things built up to another level of killing minions and an epic boss fight.
NMH2 cut out all of that stuff and just focused on the fighting, but as a result it actually churned out a worse game.
Edit: I'll need to check what version these are based on. The 'censored' european wii release, the US version, or the PS3 remake. I saw an image showing you to twirl the joystick to load your beam katana. Such a shame they didn't implement the wii's wanking.
You guys suck. Virtually every review says NMH2 is a better game than 1. Lots of Nintendo news today, lots of cloud games announced. There was an n. Direct

How challenging is Squadrons?
But is the refletion in the puddle ray-traced, or a simple screen space reflection ?
But I digress, cool impressions. So can you play this co-op?

I’d rather they add Super Mario Galaxy 2 instead.
Agree with that. Twenty dollar DLC, let's go!
I take it you ment to say let's-a go!
I can get Journey to the Savage Planet for $12 AUD; worth it?
If you like exploration like in Metroid Prime, then yes.
Well, Metroid Prime is a contendor for my favourite game of all time, so...
