Game Under Podcast Ep. 130
Foolz and Aspro talk about the latest news, Iron Harvest and their 2017 GOTYgameunder.net editorial impressions media news aspro
What? No. Project Scorpio was the code name for Xbox One X. I thought you were having problems with figuring out it’s link to the One X. Series X and S are the proper names. Their code names were Anaconda and Lockhart respectively.
Your post made me think X and S series were codenames. Yeah they are confusing then. I couldn't even remember the real name for Scorpio until I read it again, Xb1 X. Makes me feel like a confused old man.

And they were both Project Scarlet, weren't they?
So even the concept names are confusing...

Watched the first three episodes of High Score on Netflix. Quite enjoyable so far. I really get a kick out of seeing stuff from the ‘80’s and early ‘90’s. Those sure were the days. Got a chuckle on that bit where that woman, who’s name escapes me right now, went to Japan to setup the American launch of Nintendo Power and was so determined to have it look how she wanted. The Japanese in those meetings getting so frustrated and Howard Philips trying to calm them by saying that she was just a “dragon lady”.
I could listen to Roberta Williams talk all day. She is just so adorable.
I thought you meant High Score Girl the Anime on Netflix, also about gaming during the SNES era.
I managed to beat the boss I've been stuck on for nearly a week in Hollow Knight. I was expecting a bigger boss fight with one of the 3 guardians, turns out he didn't put up a fight...
Back to aimlessly wandering about to find out where to head to next!
And once again I'm the same roadblock then I come up against each time I played Devil Survivor has reared its ugly head and kicked my butt. There's this boss named Beldr, and I'm fairly sure that had this game been more popular, he would be considered maybe the most ridiculous battle ever.
The difficulty spike is completely insane. I've been overpowered for most of the game and this wasn't even close. I read someone described him as the fence that keeps the casual players out of the second half of the game. I watched a couple YouTube videos and read a few guides, and they all make it seem pretty hopeless. You really have to spend the obnoxious amount of time grinding and leveling up characters in order to summon strong enough demons to beat him.
So now I have to make a decision to do that or just quit playing while I at least have my sanity. Meh...
I actually think they're going to go $50 higher on each console. Not quite the total high end of pricing speculation, but it'll be closer to the high end than the low end, even with Microsoft's pricing.
That said, I also think they're going to announce an end to the PS+ program and offer something similar to Game Pass.
Yeah, it’s Episode 3: “Role Players”. There’s a really cute story of her pitching her game idea to her husband at a dinner they went to.
Finished Night in the Woods. Hoping to get Deadly Premonition done and get into a few short indie games.
Typical. Slept her way to the top.
If only there'd been a gamergate back then to nip the thing in the bud!
Hey speaking of that, you can see Roberta Williams' nipples on the cover of one of their first games, SoftPorn Adventures.

Is it on the TV show?!
Foolz and Aspro are talking about their 2017 GOTY this soon?

You shouldn't have kept restarting, and just spent all that time grinding on the same save. If you had, it'd probably be a pushover by now.
Pssssh, it's easy to appear wise when commenting with the benefit of hindsight.
Oh mighty Foolz, how long should Robio persevere in this foolish quest to conquer the gatekeeper that so thoroughly mocks him?
He didn't start grinding 11 years ago, so that's when he should have given up.
