Damn the hate on GAF is real. There was a thread on Animal Crossing sales and immediately people shit on it saying Nintendo customers are suckers and the game is shit and you "do nothing" in the game. All posted by someone who clearly never played it.
Nobody goes to GAF anymore, GG.
Yeah GAF isn't much more than just a shit show these days. The bulk of it just seems to be angry stereotypical gamers. On the other hand you have Retro Era which is angry woke gamers.
I suspect if there's any decent conversation online about video games these days it's either here or on a discord server somewhere.
Outlast is pissing me off. I've been killed 5 times trying to turn on these gas pumps in the basement and it's a random guy appears From Nowhere and just chases you and kills you. There's nowhere to Escape 2 and seemingly no way to defend yourself whatsoever
No map + trial and error gameplay. I beat that section but it was a pain.
got out of the cells. I find this game annoying as some people attack you relentlessly while others just ignore you. Now I'm in a locker with a douche waiting outside a closed cell door and he won't go away. I basically have to die and restart. Or run like a lunatic whilst having no idea where I'm going, no map. Flat out ridiculous. Door won't open as he's standing there. Can't leave. He won't go away. I'm stuck here forever. Glitches?!
I'm not stuck in the locker I was stuck in the room. I had to save and quit now I am finished that section. Fell out of a Window looking for a way out of the shower room now it's pitch black again. Back to re6 methinks
STREET FIGHTER PRODUCER YOSHINORI ONO LEAVES CAPCOM AFTER ALMOST 30 YEARS
I saw that. Tough to tell exactly what's real, but it looks like the production on Street Fighter 6 hasn't been going well at all so they replaced him with someone else. I suppose when someone who has been charged with a series for a long time like that is replaced, resignation is probably the next step.
I’m interested in seeing what Ono does next or perhaps he’ll just step away from the game industry entirely. I always liked the guy myself, he was always just a pretty affable fellow. Also interested in seeing how this will affect the Street Fighter franchise. I loved the SFIV games, haven’t played SFV yet though.
Now just at Leon's campaign where the prologue starts. There are qtes galore and cutscenes/walk slow moments every 10m. Also my min boggles how they fucked up the aiming and camera inside of a Subway train. It's literally the ideal shooting situation but felt a mess. If there's one thing that bothers me about the aiming is that it aims where the camera is set and I have the camera slightly higher or lower than eye level so I have to drag it back up. Wish it would just default to eye level.
I kind of gave up on Street Fighter 5 after the second season of characters. The game was fine, certainly nothing wrong with the core experience. I didn't like that they tried to copy Mortal Kombat and do the story mode though. That's sort of standard for fighting games these days I guess, but I've never been a particular fan of them. Always found them way too repetitive. Regardless, the SF5 story was just trash no matter how you looked at it. I greatly preferred every character just having their own individual story, with occasionally overlap between some characters. Anyway, the game had a bad launch, but after a couple seasons of new characters I think most people considered to be a very good game. The roster is certainly large and impressive.
The bigger problem for me though was I'm just not good enough anymore. My connection isn't terrible, but it's not great either and that doesn't help matters for online play.
Final re6 boss is sucking away my will to live. How many stages? Wasp boss seems impossible because there are no visible indicators of what to do. I shoot the legs only to see bullets impact but do no damage. There's a weird lightning rod you pick up only you can't throw it and can't jam it into the boss. I'm running out of ammo and fucking non stop zombies keep coming. Okay now beat. Leon campaign complete. I'd give it 6/10 on the whole. Also blows my mind how re5 motion control is so much better. As is Revelations 2. Maybe I néed to fine tune it again.
Sounds like falling down the stairs was a highlight compared to your game-related experiences of late, GG.

Makes sense given that that's how the community split itself.
Re4 is pretty great. Art still looks great. Resolution is top notch, it's 60fps. Even portable it's still HD Re4. You can set the controls so its like the gc too.
It's been between 30 and 36° here for nearly a week now. The heat is getting everywhere and nights are so hot that it basically cools at all.
Not even rolling snowballs in animal crossing's winter helps.
Same here. My house is barely cool in the evening. The Ac is set to 72 degrees but it takes hours for it to ever get that cool. I guess I'm just happy it's not in the nineties like it is outside.

Who stuck you in that locker?
Yeah, RE6 sounds like more fun then that Outlast game.

Yeah... We don't have AC.
I'm sorry.
