The usual, but I also just played Journey for the second time, as well as the Ghostrunner and Art of Rally demos for the first.

Mostly Animal Crossing, although I'm seeing a steep drop off in attention span as I don't really have any large plans for the landscaping of my village and am pretty happy with how everything is at the moment.

Also still soldiering through Warcraft.  It's pretty enjoyable.

I built a diner in Animal Crossing. Moved a shop and a house. Spent 220000 on a spectacular kimono stand. And officially went broke. Back to fruit picking for me. 😭 Otherwise sorting and making flower beds for hybrid breeding.

The kids are discovering the GameCube through wanting to play some Star Wars games and games with the Bongo's and it's got me thinking back.  Thosee were the days...  Carefree and with seas of free time, and those games!  I don't think I hold any games library as dearly as that of the GC.  Sure, it didn't have the best Mario or Zelda, but the sheer number of oddballs releases and pure classics is unmatched.

The remake is a 7?  That seems a little harsh from what I've heard.

Yeah definitely not befitting of the game that I’ve seen from it.

GTA5 has now officially sold over 130 million units. That's nearly one sale for every dollar invested in development. Not bad for a return on investment.

Of course when you factor in marketing budgets those numbers see a harsh drop by 100% as it then equates to roughly one copy sold for every 2 dollars invested!

So they've got another 130 million sales to go. Pathetic.

By the way, am I missing anything by never having played Grand Theft Auto V? For all the tens of millions of copies that sold, I don't really know anyone who was playing it after the launch window.

I played through it twice and should've loved it but I think the formula was too stale for me. Go find someone, chase them, kill them, rinse , repeat. I really enjoyed GTA IV but V was a little boring.

GTAV has some pacing issues but it's better than 4 and still a lot of fun.

Leo! You played Nioh 2? I'm in the middle of it but not feeling it. It's so much of the same thing. It's one of the most simple sequels ever, might as well be an expansion. Combat is still great but levels have been meh so far.

Star Tropics fans, check out this game called Akurra on steam.

This was the first Star Wars movie that I saw.  My mom took me to see it with a friend of hers.  Neither of us had any clue about what the movie was about.  Four year old Travo was totally entranced by the movie and loved every bit of it. Well, except the ending because bad guys are not supposed to win. Now it's my favorite film of all time, just perfect to me in every way.

We saw A New Hope a little later during a rerelease and of course we were there opening weekend for ROTJ. Luke was my childhood hero growing up.  A friend and I would have lightsaber duels with wiffle ball bats. I always ended up being Darth Vader because he always insisted on being Luke.
