Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been breaking records left and right, and now it's taken the crown for another title in Japan.
Believe it or not, in just over a month, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now the best-selling physical Switch release in Japan of all-time. The previous record-holder was Smash Bros. Ultimate, which has sold 3.66 million so far. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now sitting at 3.89 million physical units sold as of this week.
Very impressive indeed. Nintendo is going to be supporting this with content and updates for a very long time. That’ll be great for my enjoyment of the game but absolutely terrible for my backlog.
Oh cool. I haven’t checked it out yet, will watch it later.

I downloaded the Bravely Default 2 demo when it came out but just haven’t gotten around to playing it yet. I’m going to buy the game anyway though.
They both look awful. 2 is just unpixellated enough that it's obvious now.
Troll.
I stand by that statement.
Have you played the games on 3ds and the Switch demo?
Sorry for my absence, I've changed my hours at work which has subsumed the 15 minutes I would usually have to get on the computer at home each day.
I've got my copy of Ring Fit Adventure in the mail -- it's excellent.
Also been playing Diablo III on Switch and Mercenaries on original Xbox as well as Ty the Tasmanian Tiger on Switch -- old games week!
