The Kobe Bryant news has shocked me to the core. One of those you will remember where you were when you heard the news. Horrific, him and his daughter, some other family on board too. Tragic.

Yes, it seems so surreal. Another reminder of how we should never take a day for granted.
Still Sky (I'll probably buy stupid enough to pay for one more adventure pass) and Forza Horizon 4, in which you can make an Axis (manga sticker bombs and iron crosses!) OG Golf GTI into supercar-beating monster. A tiny wheel-base + very little aero compared to actual supercars makes it ridiculously hard to handle, though.
Played through Minit today, and starting to warm up to the idea of playing Dragon Quest 6. Still not sure I want to play a 80 hour game, but I probably dropped 40+ hours on Langrisser so...
Returned to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne this weekend to partake in the second year appreciation event. Slay monsters, get loot, craft armour and weapons to slay more monsters. Fun times.
I played some Sea of Thieves on Friday and a couple of minutes of Luigi's Mansion 3.
Me and my mate were sailing the sea's, digging up rare commodities to sell to some NPC in exchange for an alternate, harder to come by type of coin. After each selling our first piece of treasure, we come back to see our ship sinking as it's being attacked by pirates. They were probably hanging out in the area, waiting for honnest to good hardworking seafarers to come by so they could kill them and take the loot for themselves. Bloody pirates!
Oh, and not gaming related, but I bought a second NAS to set up at my parent's place as an external backup of my local backup. This is the first time I've tried setting these up myself and so far it's going pretty swimingly.
I'm lurking, but honestly I really don't have much going on to report about these days. Work, work, and just hanging around doing nothing. Next month I'll be more interesting though I promise. If nothing else, PlayStation Plus has the Bioshock collection and Sims 4 coming out, both of which I was looking forward to. And I'm due to go to the liquor store too. So, that's something interesting I suppose.

Same here. Just been playing Monster Hunter World: Iceborne enjoying the second anniversary event with nothing else really going on to talk about.
In non-gaming news, I designed and ordered new tradeshow banners for our company's sales team and I implemented a new file transfer program on our website.
So....yeah that's why I don't talk much about work.

In equally uneventfull news, I've been setting up my new NAS to back up to my older NAS so that I can have a backup stored on a different location. I transferred all my data over to 2 new 2TB HDD's, one in each NAS. Then I figured I'd format my old 1TB drives and add them for some extra storage. Alas, apparently you can only later add HDD's that are larger than what you're already using. Only option would be to redo the whole proces with the smaller drives, format the 2TB ones and add them in afterwards. That's not gonna happen.
To me, it basically looks the same as 1080p only on a huge screen. The benefit of having more pixels being larger screens without suffering from a loss of picture quality. I know as I had a 720p 50" TV that looked like ass.
I was initially worried about how switch would look on it, given what it looked like when you put a wii on an HDTV. The picture was initially soft. Once I cranked the sharpness to MAX and fiddled with some other settings it looks basically as good as it does on a 1080p TV which is a victory for sure.
I began my Ring Fit Adventure this weekend. What about you guys?

Woo go to the thread. The game is so good.

Where is everybody?

I just finished listening to The Life and Revelations of Saint Gertrude, which was also a good book with a meh ending.
You mean the part with Stu and Tom? That was great.
Same here. Just been playing Monster Hunter World: Iceborne enjoying the second anniversary event with nothing else really going on to talk about.
No. I mean the final confrontation with the dark man. 1200 pages of build up and it was over surprisingly fast. I was expecting more to happen.
So....yeah that's why I don't talk much about work.
... and how does that make you feel?

Got a 4KTV, 65"
