lol. my cohost disagrees!  I've become so used to constant smoke and dust since about August it's old hat to me. My daughter wakes us up every night coughing. Thanks for your concern Edge, it's seriosu, but I've taken it in stride as part of the worst drought in my regions's history. My rain fall the last two yeasrs is less than a third of the average rainfall, and I rely on what falls from the sky for water for my household, and my cattle. You guys have seen photo's of my place before, when it looks like something out of Lord of the Rings, now it looks like Mad Max. It certainly adds ot the depression.

Make up your mind, geez! Nyaa

It's bad, and a part of my daily life, but it's not as bad as the TV makes it out.  More people die in car crashes or asthma attacks.

And what about asthma attacks caused by these bushfires? Nyaa

I don't watch TV, so I'll take your word for it. I don't see how deaths are the only important metric here, though. In any case, in terms of the smoke the Victorian fires and the fires north of Victoria have produced, it's second only to Black Saturday in my lifetime, albeit not even close. Clear visibility at the peak amount of smoke today on my street was reduced to half a kilometre. On Black Saturday at its worst, it was 50 metres.

I've been playing Langrisser again. Can't believe I let myself get sucked down this hole again, but here I am 20 hours in.

This past weekend I played some of Hollow Knight which I played through Playstation Now but what I spent the most of my time playing was Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition which is also on Playstation Now.

Horizon is great I wanted to play it since it was first announced but I never ended up purchasing it. I might buy it after it is removed from PlayStation Now in April.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

I want to play it, but I'm a little scared to. Really wanted to avoid picking up a long game right now since I'm already playing one.

I finally started Metro Exodus properly. Definitely a much slower start than 2033 and Last Light had. I think I'm up to the first open world-y part, so we'll see how things go from here, but it's not the best of openings. Except for how good it looks, of course.

Fecking Links Awakening. Getting to the northwest mountain temple is a pain in the Fecking ass! Go to the mountain temple. They don't tell you there are two of them. I schlep it to the north east one only to find my key doesn't fit. Ulriya says find dead chicken. I do that, it's dead. Can't find signpost maze because I thought the brown square on the map was a desert, it was hidden behind it. Revived the Godamn chicken. But going up the mountain even for the 13th time is a Fecking mess, a series of caves with no clear way up. Even with the chicken you reach a dead end which takes you back down the mountain only there is no way to easily get back to the point you were at without SCHLEPPING IT BACK UP THROUGH A SERIES OF FUCKING CAVES THAT MAKE NO SENSE AS TO WHERE YOU WILL POP OUT OF. FUCK OOOOFFFFFFF!!!!!!

That's how true power and influence works guys.  Some advice: don't get on my nerves, or "accidents" might happen.  cool

Yes even I was like FUUUUUU. But that's Zelda. Oracle games are even worse with that kind of world design.
