Have you played the PS4 game Ys Xiii? I've seen many people say it's great. Was going to pick it up a few times but apparently it was limited run in physical form & now is pretty expensive.
wut?
It's been so long I can't even get that excited about a new Half-Life game. Like does Valve even have the talent anymore?
Nah that's theonly one I haven't played. Well V as well.
One of the site's forefathers.
I downloaded Asphalt 9 on the Switch. It's the first F2P game I've played that involves lootboxes I think. The game itself looks nice enough on the handheld's screen and it's nice to play an arcade racer again as they're much less prelavent as the once were and it's a genre I've always enjoyed. Being a F2P game, there's a lot of clutter about lootboxes and daily challenges and clubs and what not, but if you just ignore all that and focus only on the actual gameplay, it's a pretty enjoyable experience. There's also 4 player split screen mode and I'd love to give that a go when I've got someone who enjoys gaming over at the house. All in all I'm pretty happy with my non-purchase.
Valve can lick my taint.
That sucks. Way too young to die.
Foolz' PC Build With Photo's Foolz shows off his new PC and provides a how to guide.
Nice rig, congrats. That should be a good machine for a long time. Cyberpunk would look insane on that.
Thanks man! I'm hoping it really gives the GPU a work out. It has the potential to take the crown form Crysis!
Well, there go our chances of ever seeing a truely forward thinking remake with kick-ass graphics.
We'll just keep getting overly simplified games with gamecube like visuals.
I've more or less resigned myself to the realization that at the end of the day Pokemon is a kid's game. It's doesn't need to push the envelope and can keep pushing the same formula year after year because there will always be new 10 years olds playing it for the first time.
True, but with a fanbase of millions now in their 20's, 30's and up you could argue that there would be some merrit in at least offering something interesting for them as well. Also, don't underestimate teens. Red and Blue were much more complex than the games we're seeing now, and yet we all managed to beat those games when we were that age.
You could rightfully argue all of that. But at the end of the day Sun/Moon had record setting three day sales. Now that was beaten by Sword/Shield. The path they are on is making them more money than ever, especially when you consider this is $20 more than the mainline games have ever been.
I'm just going to put my hopes in Star Tropics 3.
30 hours into Kingdom Hearts 2, and I've finally started to get some trophies. It's definitely better than the first game. Anybody played KH3?
Yep, I played KH3. Played through and beat the game earlier this year, really enjoyed it. I think there’s been some extra stuff added to it like a harder difficulty with some updates since it came out. Been thinking about going back to it again to see what’s been updated and maybe try to go for a few more of the achievements.
Xbox isn't so focused on games-as-a-service titles anymore
I can only assume that if your whole business is skewing towards a subscription model, games as a service aren't very relevant anymore, as your whole business is a service. It becomes a moot point to try and tie gamers to one game only.
It’s a 360 game compatible with the Xbox One.
