You sure it's not the battery indicator fault I had? Read up on it. Also I'm watching Watchmen the TV series. I haven't read the graphic novel. Does this stuff happen in the book? The movie was very different?

Nothing shows up on display, GG.  The Switch won't even turn on.

SPECULATION: Playtonic Games (developers of the Yooka-Laylee series) might be joining Xbox Game Studios and/or working on a new Banjo-Kazooie game

So they left Rare formed Play tonic only to be acquired by Microsoft again?

That would be the most ironic thing to happen in gaming since giant bomb was bought by the organizational that owns Games pot.

Nintendo turned them down, so they had to settle for the chubby chick.

Seems they debunked any talk of them hooking up with the chubby chick.

Omg, if you stand still in the elevator Luigi hums along with the music. It's suitably awesome.

I think the TV show is set after the comic? Seems like it's probably a loose adaptation, but I haven't seen it, so can't help you out more than that.

Incidentally, people being triggered by Rorschach coming across as a piece of shit is hilarious. Sounds like that much, at least, is accurate to Alan Moore's original intentions. That and the explicit political commentary. Really, how can you like Alan Moore's work if you don't like political and social commentary in pop art? Uneasy

I read up on it, it's set 30 years later. It's a bit shitty establishing the time line. And it's going to be weird as hell for people who haven't seen the movie.

Did the developers decide to turn God of War into a puzzle game? I'm in Alfheim and it seems you can't have more than one action sequence without having to solve a puzzle or two in order to open a gate or a chest. It's boring me to death. It started off so good with the first few big battles and then...walking and puzzles with a few skirmishes in between.

Yeah, they padded out the game a lot with  uninteresting puzzles. I also thought the RPG-lite system was tedious for an action game.

Yeah the rpg elements aren't doing anything for me either. They are just complex enough to be a pain in the ass. As much as I like the story and how they've progressed Kratos' character I don't see myself playing this much longer

Lots of stuff in the show requires knowledge of the comics or even movie.  You can follow the show fine but you will miss a lot of the connections they are making.

I had to show people YouTube videos explaining the comics and movie plot.

Omg later on in Luigi's Mansion 3 you can plug in your hoover and suck the environment to bits, so powerful it rips the environment up piece by piece including the wallpaper. It feels so liberating and looks great too.

Omg the pirate ship. And the visuals, it swings the camera around where it looks like a playable pixar movie, then seamlessly back to gameplay. Close up everything looks better. Wish there was a first person mode or something.

Some nonsensical banter at the start of each post would be nice please. I'm avoiding this thread as I'll be getting the game later, but there's little point in doing so when all the spoilers are there for everyone to see on the main page.

Nintendo extended the Eternal Darkness trademark again. It just occurred to me the design of Luigi's Mansion 3 is pretty similar to Eternal Darkness in the room structure. Next Level could make an excellent ED game with this engine and structure.
