This weekend I played The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Uncharted 4 multiplayer. What about you guys?
Speaking of movies, is anyone excited for Rambo coming out this Friday?
First Blood was an amazing movie, and for some reason I'm kind of getting a similar vibe from this one. So yeah, I may actually venture into foreign lands to a movie theater and check it out.
Played lots of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne this past weekend. There’s a ton of content and stuff to do in this expansion. I love it.
I've been playing Ori and the something-something forest, with brief interludes of Tetris99.
Ori is a strange game. It looks wonderful and has some nice concepts about how to get around, but a platformer where your attack is some kind of homing missile just feels wrong. All you need to do is get within a relatively lenient range and ram X while avoiding the other's projectiles. It's even possible to get some piece of scenery between you and your prey so that their projectiles can't reach you while yours pummel them.
I finished up Tomb Raider 2

Started up Tomb Raider 3

And continued my playthrough of Vampire: Bloodlines

Started Devil May Cry 3, and still playing bits of Sky: Children of Life.
The tutorial of the former was better than the entirety of Devil May Cry 2.

It's time to break out the 300 lb CRTs. We've all been duped.
No.
I appreciate the way you took a stand here. Very assertive.

For anyone who likes to game on the go but has the problem of having masculine hands, this may come in handy.
In non-gaming related news: some couple launched a crowdfunding innitiative to pay for medical treatment for their newly born daughter, who suffers from a severe and rare muscle disorder. You could send a text message and thus donate €2. The treatment needs to be done in the US and costs $2.000.000. The news picked up on it and in less than 48 hours they received over 900.000 messages and the whole thing was funded.
It's both heartwarming and nausseating. The former because when all people need to do is text a message and spare €2 to help someone out, they don't hessitate to do so. The latter because they're actually charging $2.000.000 for a life saving medicine.
For those left wondering: I did not send a text message. I hadn't come to terms with aiding a pharmaceutical company in holding an infant hostage for $2.000.000 before the family received all the help they needed. My wife sent one though.
That's great...hopefully it goes well. You hear stories like this all the time where someone has a rare illness but don't have the money. Matter of fact it happened to one of my favorite guitarists back in the day. He died largely because he didn't have enough money, nor was he popular enough to where, say, Hollywood types would catch on & act like they care.
I also saw a terrible story the other day about an abortion doctor in Indiana. They found over 2500 aborted remains in his house. That's a special kind of sick.
As long as they left a negative review on the pharmaceutical company's Yelp page, then this is obviously just another example of the free market and personal ingenuity solving yet another problem!
Link’s Awakening is getting great reviews. I have the DX version downloaded on my 3DS and played some of it. Really enjoyed what I played and will probably getting this new Switch version and actually play through the whole game on that one.
I got sucked into a vortex of web archives for the GGD and GS, wow. My post history seems to only go back to 2005 or so during TP and Wii hype, I see so many of you there. The best thread was the Forgotten Classics we want on VC thread. We are all there just sharing a love of so many old games, loving this VC and all the hope it brought. I see some old posters like Skylock, MarcusAntonious, OneWingedAngel, and so much more. How far we have come.
