If anyone missed out on Tokyo Mirage Sessions, go for it....just as long as you can play it on private. The J-Pop music videos they do are super cringy and probably shouldn't be watched by a grown adult.

Yeah I still have this on the Wii U and kind of got sidetracked halfway through and put it aside. I was really enjoying the game though and will most likely pick up the Switch version and play it there.
Getting real tired of switch games being announced and immediately released. Or launching a month to several months after the announcement. Overwatch for instance has been asked for multiple times, the devs were always shady non-committal and basically gave the impression it was never happening, now we know it been in development for ages and its out next month. Wtf is the point of that? In the past you had time to read about the games development, hear interviews and read about special features. Even Astral Chain, why announce it so late? Where is the build up or hype? Most of the time When a game is announced then quickly released it gives me the impression that they don't care about its release so why should I? As a switch only owner it's like 3rd parties have no interest in making games for it, until they announce something and release it the following day/month.

I think this recent trend is a reaction to how the internet has coped with longer periods of being exposed to games that are in development (spoiler: not very well). No Mans Sky and the 'puddle downgrade' in the last Spiderman game come to mind for example.
It's kind of weird that they seem to put more effort into keeping Xenoblade in the spotlight than they do Metroid. Especially considering people had to start a fucking petition to get Xenoblade released at all in the first place.

Plus I think it’s all about that instant hype purchase whereas with things announced a long ways away some people might cool off on it or get sidetracked with something else.

I don't think that petition made a difference one way or another. I still say Nintendo held the game back intentionally so they had something of interest to release. The Wii was a wasteland after 2010 and they were spacing out titles with 3 to 6 month gaps (this would later be called the Wii U release schedule).

I'm flummoxed by the whole thing. Here's an N. Direct, it's out now, go to the eshop. Wth? Could have used a heads up. Then I lose interest and forget about the game. And I have to say I am deliberately not buying digital games because my 64gb SD card is full.

Get back in your lane old man, the times have changed.
Very true. The wife and I are starting some very early conversations about retirement. 2 years ago we went to the Virgin islands and last winter we went to the Florida keys, and the idea of retiring somewhere in the Caribbean was looking really good.
Then you have weeks like this that remind you, that no, it's not a good idea at all.
They're great places to visit for sure. But to settle down...not so much.
What you want is a nice area with good soil to grow on, where there's a distinct lack of natural disasters. Of course no matter where you are, there's always a chance of something. But you can really limit those chances depending on the region.
Never make a moving decision on holiday, that's how I ended back in Australia.
Those are a lot of great SNES games coming to the Switch.
Ports ports ports!!! Doom 64, Jedi knight 2, SNES games! Lol.
Deadly piece of crap 2, surprise announcement.
End the direct on another port of xenoblade 1.
Whatever.

I popped this on the other night just to play Triple Triad.
LOLOLOLOL wtf are you doing Nintendo. That video has more gif worthy moments than Ravi drums E3.
I love that game so much.
Look mommy! I embedded a video! And I couldn't have done it without my bestest buddy Archangel!
Is that the giftacular video to which Vader refers?
Assuming as such would indeed make more sense.
