Might not be a bad idea. I think they said that if you already bought the game that you can always redownload it but these days you never know.

I would buy physical.  I downloaded  TMNT the Arcade game years ago from the Xbox Marketplace then it was delisted.  I’m still sore about not getting a chance to play that again after I bought it.

You can’t redownload it again? If you go into your purchase history you should be able to still download load it from there.

Hmm, that’s strange. I replaced my 360 a few years ago and that’s how I was able to redownload the game myself. I just went into my purchase/download history and got it there. Anyway yeah I don’t trust digital downloads myself.

I've been using my controller contraption without the side wings. It's great. It's about 3x the width of the Switch joycon grip. So my shoulders aren't as pinched together anymore. And it's about half the weight of the official joycon grip - which also means you can aim faster with the gyro. Great for casual play, Grizzco and not bad in turf wars even.

The good news is that because the thing is basically a flat rectangle I can even attach my silicone joycon grips for a better grip and it bulks up the back and makes it more comfortable. Happy

- Platinum Games began with no money; only talent
- the goal was to make something completely different from other games.
- Kamiya was confident that they could make games never seen before with their own studio
- Kamiya remembers originally proposing games for the Wii that would use its motion aiming in unique ways
- Inaba was opposed in terms of sales reasons
- Inaba stated that challenging themselves on new concepts was good, but he wanted to create an influential game
- this title ended up being Bayonetta

They lost all credibility with that last line there.  He should admit it, he just wanted to make sexy stuff.

Spawn Wave has taken apart the joycons that come with the revised Switch and unfortunately the analog sticks look to be the same. They did move the antenna thing in them though.

My mom had to check all of my cassette tapes to make sure there were no satanic messages in them.  She totally ignored the tied up naked girl in the Guns N Roses fold out.

Top quality parenting there. I'm she knew you'd miss the fold out more than any Satanic messages! WinkWink

Played some more Mutant Year Zero a couple of days ago.  This game is hard.  I'm really taking my time to pick off weaker enemies before each fight.  I dropped the difficulty to 'normal', which is the lowest preset but enemies still have 2-3 times as much health as me and can take out half my healthbar in one hit.  Before I could start playing, I needed another 3.5Gig patch.  Which brings the total of updates and patches above the 10Gig mark, while the original install was only about 6Gig.  cool

Also playing Little Nightmares.  Very moody, very good art style, holds up very well on the Switch, in portable mode at least.  It's a game I can't play for too long at a time though, it's just all so gloomy and oppressive.  The gameplay is also a bit finnicky, although I feel this is by design.

So, what have you mutants been playing?

What a switch revision should do is keep the same screen size, get rid of the bezel and use the extra width to make larger joycons where the buttons are spread apart.
