Absolute classic. Greatest dialogue any game has ever had.
Ugh. Been trying to beat the (presumably) last boss in Jotun. He's not very interesting, but he has this homing attack that's hard to dodge as it has a huge hitbox. So not only am I frustrated at the fact that the game isn't over yet, now I'm also frustrated as the last boss is pretty cheap and thus much more difficult than all the others up till now. And not even difficult in a good way.
Seeing Avengers this week.
Look forward to seeing Adam Warlock, Galactus and Eternity taking on Thanos.
Sonic the Hedgehog trailer: Sonic's new look divides fans in first-look clip
The trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog has been revealed, offering the first-look at the new movie.
The live-action animation hybrid sees the classic video game character handed his own film for the first time ever.
The new clip shows the speedster teaming up with local sheriff Tom Wachowski (James Marsden), before going up against eccentric villain Dr. Ivo Robotnik, played by Jim Carrey.
As well as showing off Sonic's incredible speed, the trailer offers a first glimpse at Sonic’s new look, which already seems to be dividing fans online.

I don't get why he seems to have human sized arms and legs, it's so weird.
My whole life has been leading up to Sonic the movie.
Lol he looks so bad. But Carrey is good. It’s not as horrific as I thought.
I’m playing MK11 which is what you would expect. Also working on a level in dreams using tools I don’t know how to use.
WHY THE HELL DOES SONIC HAVE HUMAN SIZE ARMS AND LEGS?!!
It’s so creepy. Did you catch Carrey looking like real Robotnik at the end and he is in Mobius. That’s the last shot of the movie, it’s been leaked. This whole movie is earth nonsense.
I have to give credit to Jim, he was pretty good in the trailer. Looks like he will retain respect. One funny thing on twitter was a guy who said that Sonic could dodge hundreds of missiles yet be hit by a tranquilizer dart.
Days Gone is the latest game to be getting shitty "professional" reviews that happens to actually be a very solid game. I don't know, maybe Sony Bend need to dish out a few more blowjobs to the top gaming publications. 10 hours into it and can't put it down....not usually something I can say of a 5/10 game. It's not one of the most jaw dropping amazing games ever made...of course it has it's flaws. But it's also not a mediocre piece of shit. It's an epic scale semi-open world survival game with a great story and fantastic production values that merge together with sometimes clunky gameplay mechanics. I'm so glad I took a chance on this one. Was debating up until the last minute whether to pick it up or not.
I'm actually pretty happy that it's kind of a controlled open world too. There's more structure here and a true path to follow than most games in this style. Less wasting my time is a good thing. Anyone who enjoys survival games, or adventures in the style of Last of Us, Horizon ZD, Resident Evil, or Dying Light will surely enjoy this.
Kill that hideous blue mutant hedgehog thing! Kill it with fire!
Jim Carrey though looks very interesting as Robotnik.
Didnt it get 7s? Thats not saying its bad. Nice to hear. All my friends like it too.
To speed up load times
That's pretty clever. I hope a lot of games will see updates to take advantage of this feature.
Here are some Days Gone qutoes from reviews ranging from high 7s to mid 6s (the average is 7):
"I played Days Gone, and I thought that if Sony Bend Studio had more time to develop this game, it could be something far better than this product, even one of the best games of this generation."
"The zombie apocalypse is well-trodden territory and the open-world spin of Days Gone can only differentiate it so much. There's a strong narrative focus, but Deacon St. John doesn't carry that weight as deftly as he could. There are highlights and fun tools available within, but the game doesn't push those forward initially, leaving the players to deal with some tedium first. Days Gone is a great foundation for something better though, so hopefully Bend gets the chance to improve upon it."
"Days Gone has some moments of brilliance, but there're far too may bugs. The hordes improve the game drastically, it's just a shame that a lot of the game suffers in other avenues."
Doesn't sound like they're shitting on it at all to me.
Also, 53 positive, 35 mixed and 2 negative pro reviews on Metacritic. Majority positive result. Is there a disparity compared to the user reviews? Sure. But, by the same token, there's way more negative user reviews than professional negative reviews.
PS5 is packing some 'special sauce,' says AMD boss videogamer.com
Yeah, sure. I still remember them saying something like 'we put 2000 hours into creating this custom chip for Nintendo Switch', for it then to just be a stock Tegra X1 downclocked to fit thermal and power consumption windows.
Well, that goes to show how much I pay attention to reviews. I saw one or two people the day Days Gone came out saying "everyone" was giving it 5/10. Whatever.
I can see a 7/10 for sure. But a 5 is way too low. It's not Shadow the Hedgehog.
I'm watching GOT ep 2 of the new season.
Does anyone get this feeling like it's this romanticised fairytale like meetings? Like this is what the script writers would have wanted. The whole series has been with most people acting apart in different parts of the country and now they are all getting together like some epic rock festival?
RIP Chewie.
