I'm having a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Sad Started the prep two hours ago. Prep is not fun, but so far it hasn't been as bad as I'd been told. Didn't even taste bad. Modern medicine improvements? Hopefully the test tomorrow will go well and be negative for cancer. *crosses fingers*

On a subject that doesn't involve getting a camera shoved up your ass, it looks like we've got more than one new Switch redesign coming up. I will be curious on the details of the switch pro or whatever they end up calling it. That will probably be the one I go for if it ends up being released in a timely manner.

Best of luck on the colonoscopy tomorrow Raven. I’ll be needing to get one in a couple of years myself.

I can see us getting a second Switch at some point, if it's a marked upgrade above the original model. I've typically shied away from getting newer SKU's of hardware I already own, but if the new model is tempting I might bite so that my eldest and I both have our own system.

Also, good luck with the colonoscopy. I hope you get a camera model without an external flash WinkWink

I know what it's like. Good luck. Hope you don't get gas pains. BTW you may feel like you feel okay but I would rest easy for at least two days afterwards or things can take a turn for the worse.

How the heck did you get results so quickly? No biopsies? Is this like a standard thing you guys do in America at a certain age?

I had two tiny polups removed, which are being lab tested; I'll get those results in the mail in 10 days. My doctor saw no other issues. Everything was healty and normal.

I am still loopy from the anesthesia. Nap time!

Doctors here recommed getting colonoscopy screenings every 5-10 years usually starting at age 45-50.

Glad to hear nothing came up. I'm sure the polyps will be fine, too. Happy

I heard he even quite enjoyed it. Nyaa

Seriously though, we have testes for colon cancer as of 50 years as well. Although the first level of defence is just sending in a sample of your poo every 2 years.

LOL No, I was completely knocked out by anesthesia during the procedure.

Doctor gave me lots of pics of my colon, though, so I didn't miss anything. Nyaa

So what are your wishes for the new Switch SKU's? Apparently a 'budget' and a 'slightly more luxerious' version are on its way.

Personally, I can see the budget version selling without the dock and with non-detachable Joycons. It'd be a more sturdy version and aforementionned changes would make it a much cheaper proposition, while still enabling regular JoyCons to be attached wirelesly for multiplayer or games that are better played with motions. It could still be docked through the classic dock, it just wouldn't come with one in the box.

As for the higher specced version all I'd need would be a 1080p screen on the Switch itself and higher clock speeds. Since the X1 is severely underclocked even in docked mode, those gains should be easy to reach if a more efficient cooling system (or more powerefficient and thus cooler hardware) could be implemented.

Personally I want a cheaper second dock. And for them to just unlock a higher power state when used as a portable for higher resolution. I cannot play Xenoblade 2 offscreen it looks like crap. The only reason switch used without the dock is hobbled is because they don't want the battery running out too fast and since I have a 20'000 mah rechargable battery (or could plug the damned thing in using the power adapter) there is no point in not having that option.

So basically you just want a discount on the dock and a software update. LOL
