Played a lot of the anthem 10 hour trial. The gameplay is so much fun but woah this game will have issues. Loading is horrendous and it’s needed after every mission or even to change load outs. Missions are generic. Story seems ok but not BioWare level.
I finished Toy story world in KH3, it was fantastic. The sense of scale was so great.
I too have been playing Kingdom Hearts 3. The game looks so good and just oozes that Disney charm. Right now I’m in the Kingdom of Corona helping out Rapunzel.
Yoshi games have been dull to me lately.
That's pretty fair. I never really got a lot of enjoyment out of Kirby's Epic Yarn, though my kids loved it. Not being able to die made it a lot of fun for them. Yoshi's Wooly World bored me to freaking tears and I gave up after the second world.
That's kind of par for the course for the Yoshi games though. Oddly enough I really did like the original N64 one though. It was extremely easy, but it was also very brief so it didn't overstay its welcome and get boring. It also really nailed the concept of rewarding skilled players to play it well.
I did not like Yoshi’s Story at all. I was expecting something epic like Yoshi’s Island and I spent $60 on a super easy game that can be finished in four hours.
Feels like it's made for kids. Looks like a pop up book and is pretty easy.
The SNES game was awesome.
It can be finished that quickly, but you're not going to see everything in that length of time. You have to play the game like four times to see all the levels. that was the neat thing about the game I thought. If you played a level really well, they give you more choices when you selected your next level.
I'm playing through 428: Shibuya Scramble, and while the game is indeed good I'm baffled just how in the hell it got a perfect score in Famitsu. It's hardly the best visual novel I've played.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
Yeah collecting 3 hearts in each stage is required to unlock all 24 stages in the game; and collecting all 30 melons in each stage is a fun extra challenge. It's definitely no Yoshis Island, but I stll enjoyed it.
That's a shame as the last world or two really is exellent. It's a scyzofrenic game though. For those that wouldn't be able to overcome a challenge, the last few worlds are definitely too hard. But those that do enjoy those last few worlds have to slog through the first 4 or so to get there.
I played some more FAST RMX, which is still an exellent game. The Subsonic Cups are manageable, but once you reach Supersonic things get so fast it's more about just staying on track and not screwing up. Hypersonic is so fast that you'll be happy to not crash twice every lap and coming in first doesn't seem like that important anymore. I love it.
I also went on a 1 day trip to London with 2 good friends of mine. On the train trip back we played some 3-player Switch, which was pretty cool to just be able to do. We played 'Lovers in a dangerous space time', which is an absolute blast. You pilot a spaceship together, where everyone can take on one role at a time, but you're always understaffed, requiring you to abandon one post to man another. It's similar to games like Overcooked and Affordabel Space Adventures, where you're all juggling tasks in order to achieve a common goal. Lovely stuff.
The images of that fortnite life 'festival' are so horrible you can't help but laugh. Keep in mind that this was a festival that sold 2500 tickets of £12 and upwards.
CAVE EXPERIENCE. Because spelunking is a large part of fortnite.
ARCHERY. Because why not?
CATERING to serve 2500 hungty and thirsty participants:
On a related note I was at McDonald's a few days ago and the guy behind the counter had a Franklin Badge attached to his hat. Franklin Badges are items that protect from lighting in the Earthbound games (that's valuable information in my head that pushed out the German I learned in 9th grade).
I asked him about it and apparently he got it at an Earthbound convention in Arizona years ago. Kind of blows my mind that a little cult game could generate enough interest for a convention.
