I always found U.N. Squadron over-rated. Personally, I feel it only stands out due to the SNES having a weak shoot-em-up library compared to the PC Engine and MegaDrive.
One of the site's forefathers.
Anyway, I'm going to play it a few more times this week, and I'll decide if I want to finish it or not. That's it, I think the next time a shoot-'em-up bug hits me I'm probably going to go and play my copy of Lords of Thunder.
MS plans Xbox Live for Switch and mobile quite the achievement eurogamer.net news
Strange times. I wonder if this could point towards MS exiting the console hardware market, or towards a close partnership between MS and Nintendo. Nintendo could do with a robust online service like Xbox Live, and MS could do with more quality 'exclusives' that aren't available on Sony's hardware.
Strange times indeed. I hope it’s not a sign of Microsoft leaving the console market because I really like their systems but we’ll see.
I simply put forward that question on EG, and got negged to hell for it.
I do wonder what the deal is though. For a company as steeped in tradition and with such a history as Nintendo, it seems odd for them to give MS such access to their hardware. What does Nintendo get out of this? I can hardly imagine that they'd be content with just having a better online service, especially if that would also imply sharing a cut of the profits made on that platform with MS.
Besides the obvious Fortnite, Minecraft and Rocket League games, could we see some MS exclusives online for the Switch?
I’ll have to check out this Apex Legends game. I loved the Titanfall games and although this really isn’t the same experience I am interested in it. Too many games to play. Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh!
Sex?
Would love to see a new Secret of Mana game myself.
February’s games for Nintendo Online will be Super Mario Bros. 2 and Kirby’s Adventure. While two good games I hope that Nintendo start offering some SNES titles soon.
So did anyone try out Apex Legends yet?
Is there actually anyone here who plays Battle Royal games?
Apex isn't really on my radar at the moment. I might give it a shot if I'm bored, but I doubt it.
I tried out Apex Legends. It’s the only Battle Royal game that I’ve played so far. I’d say that AL is probably the best looking BR game in my opinion. The gameplay mechanics are pretty solid in it and pretty fun. The way you can call enemies, items, and locations out on the controller is quite well done. Right now the only way to play is in teams of three. I wouldn’t mind seeing a solo mode. The different class of characters is nicely done and they each have different uses and “ultimate” powers to use. From everything that I’ve seen on PUBG, Fortnite, and Call of Duty Blackout this one looks to be the one that I feel is the best of them so far. You can revive teammates when they are down but not out however even if they die you can grab their banner and revive them at stations located at various places on the map.
Having said all that though I’m not really sure these BR games are something that I’d ever play much of myself.
I think that you can play PUBG and other free to play games online without having to subscribe to PSN.
What the fuck is an Apex Legends?
I know what PUBG [sic] is, so it must be the kids that are wrong, and I'm not at all out of touch.
Jesus. Have you guys been watching Baki on Netflix?
It's like Kickboxer:
x the Streetfighter 2 anime movie:
