This is all kinds of bullshit. Nintendo will change one of Mr.Game & Watch's animations because it's in reference to a 30 year old Game & Watch cowboy game that painted Indians as pyromaniac antagonists. Like someone at EG pointed out, I hadn't even spotted that he was meant to look like an Indian during that animation, could just as well be a pirate.
The term political correctness does not even cover how inane this is.
I thought it was an indian. That was one of my favourite Game and Watch animations.
The censorship is just out of control. I honestly never thought I would see things this way in the USA. Growing up in the 80's and 90's, you could pretty much do or say anything you wanted to as long as you weren't causing physical harm to anyone. Now it's like the thought police have taken control of technology and it's getting a bit crazy.
Some dude just got banned or something on youtube for putting up a video of Red Dead Redemption 2 where he (in the game) beats up a feminist and feeds her to an aligator.

The 90s was when the ESRB was introdued under massive government pressure (following public pressure). If anything, the '90s was more censorial when it came to videogames. Outside of videogames, look at the dicking over rap music took. 80s was the death throes of the cold war. Any cursory look at media should show it was a heavily repressive time. Not in the areas we're sensitive about today, though. Things seem more censorial today beause the Mary Whitehouses of the world are insiders, so we're diretly exposed to them. Not to mention, we're also more diretly exposed to the outsiders beause we get to see them diretly, not just through the filter of TV/news reporting.
Don't me wrong, we're living through comially retarded times.
The PlayStation Classic is underwhelming? I’m very surprised after reading the games list.
I was kind of interested in picking up the PS1 Classic Mini but the more I hear and see about it the less interested I am.

So I hear the guy who directed Final Fantasy 15 has left Square to start his own studio, the last few DLC expansions for the game have been cancelled and Square is losing like 33 million on the whole deal. Too bad, I really like FF15. It's different and has flaws, but the overall experience was very solid and FF-Like. I guess the rest of the group is working on a new game, possibly the next Final Fantasy?
Also....Blizzard has said all their top devs are working on mobile games. RIP Blizzard.
