Now there's a game that was made for stereoscopic 3D. I had been thinking of playing throught his again for a while now, seeing as I set up the GC again underneath the TV a couple of months back. Might be I'll pick it up for 3DS instead, although I'll miss the bumpmapping. LM was the first game i ever played that had bumpmapping.
I never noticed the bump mapping in LM. It was a cool looking game though.
The first game I played that I clearly remember being blown away by the bump mapping was Halo. In 2001 on a good CRT, that game looked amazing. I remember going up to the frozen ice areas and inspecting the shit out of them. Especially the part with the frozen waterfall. In general, the Xbox had the ability to really make those kind of effects pop out.
Damn did Tomb Raider pull an RE6 or is that one bitter reviewer? Can't honestly believe the game is going to be a 4.
That's ridiculous, it has to be broken for it to be a 4 with that gameplay base. The TR games are great, this is more of the same. A 4 is just a stupid score.

Not sure if it was mentioned here, but Microsoft is buying Obsidian. The makers of Knights of the Old Republic 2, the South Park rpg's, the Pillars of Eternity rpg's, Fallout New Vegas, and Alpha Protocol. Basically, they used to be Bioware lite....but since Bioware has fallen from grace over the past 6 years, Obsidian are now the better developer.
At least they're guaranteed to have a nice budget going forward. Hopefully MS doesn't shut them down after a game or two like Lionhead.

Yep, don't trust MS. Obsidian has had one hell of a run.

Nah, even if a blockbuster game is literally broken, ala Uncharted 3, you're not allowed to give it a 4.
I’ve only ever played Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Fallout: New Vegas but they were both excellent games so I think that Obsidian would be a great acquisition for Microsoft and I would very much look forward to anything that they produced under the Microsoft Studios umbrella.

You should try the South Park RPGs. They are good as well.

Yeah their other games look and sound to be quite good as well.

Sheesh, that Tomb Raider score.
I think I’m interested in Battlefield 5 now.
That's a little bit ridiculous. I've heard it lost a step, but not the entire staircase.

DMC3 is still a masterpiece. This combat system is so incredible, every fight is a joy.
I think Gagan was the writer.
