La Mulana 2 coming Tuesday! This is the sequel to maybe the hardest game I ever beat. It should torture, it's painful but it's so good. I can't wait to jump into a new one. Easily one of the best metroidvanias.

Borderlands the handsome collection is done!

Fun games, but damn do they ever cause some serious fucking rage towards the end in both of them. Crazy ridiculous difficulty spikes. Needed online help to finsh them both. Pre Sequel was good but I def preferred Borderlands 2.

Oh, just another really sad thing to note about the Wii U is the Wii eShop. It's a graveyard of great titles, most not available anywhere else, and you can't buy any of them (unless you already purchased shop points prior to March of this year). It's like going to a museum. Look, but don't touch.

Must be why Nintendo wants to shut down all the rom sites. So we can never play any of the classics again, unless it's one of the 30 odd titles they decide to re-release over and over and over again.

They are ashamed that they have never made a Star Tropics 3, so they're trying to erase all evidence that the other ones existed.

I still have 400 points for the Wii eShop on my account. Sadly everything is 500 points and up. I really hope they have a sale before shutting it down in January.

I bought a 3000 point card for EUR20 a year or so ago, never got around to adding it, and now it's just an expensive paper card...

Some shops are still selling Wii points cards here. When I pointed it out in a toy store once, they said it was a new shipment. Very strange that was.

That sucks. You should try contacting Nintendo support, perhaps they could add it your account from their end.

Yeah actually, could you do that? Because if you can, I might go scavenge some stores for old Wii cards too.

I don’t really know but it’s worth a try. I wouldn’t recommend getting any points cards yet though.

Oh I definitely am not. For the record I have been reading up on this a bit, and the prospects of getting Nintendo to give you those points are pretty bleak. they did get a lot of notice about the date, and even extended it by 3 months, so I think at this point they've done everything they're going to do to allow people to buy stuff off of the Wii shop.

I just took my HDD out of my old laptop from when I was in college and installed it into my desktop, so I could get rid of the laptop without losing my stuff.  Now I'm deleting the now redundant windows 7 OS from it.  The tension as I discern which HDD is which, and what Windows file I can safely delete!

You ain't lived if you haven't risked massively screwing up your PC at least once.  yes

edit: chaos has been averted.  I have failed miserably in my efforts to delete the bastard OS.
