Yes! SH1 is still the best one. 2 is so damn boring, horrible case of story over gameplay. SH1 is better in almost every way.

I really liked SH2, but yeah the first one was definitely better. Still, SH2 has some incredible memories for me, being one of the 1st-generation PS2 games in that legendary onslaught of badass releases in 2001. I've never seen a console just completely dominate like that before or since. And with amazing competition.

What's everyones opinion on Quantic Dreams these days?

I hear that their last 2 games weren't very good? I think the latest game got 5/10 reviews.

Will you still get hyped about their new announcements or would you be more skeptical now?

I don’t get hyped about their games but I do like them but they are usually something that I get later on down the road when they’re much cheaper.

For July PS+ isn't really offering anything I want for the PS4, but for the PS3 they've got Deception IV. I had completely forgotten that game had come out. I'm all over it like sticky on the floors at a glory holes.

They actually released Deception 4 on both PS3 and PS4....so are they offering both versions free? I've had it on my wish list for a long time.

I only saw it mentioned for PS3, but I guess we won't know officially until next week.

Did you never play the old games? Tank controls are relative it becomes second nature for me to control them, you kind of have to rewire how to control the character. Aiming should be auto, just aim and it should lock onto an enemy, fire away. You can aim up or down but straight ahead is best in most cases. Shotgun aim up, let zombie get close for instant beheading and no chance for crimson head.

Yes, but about 20 years ago. Zombies I'm surviving so far, but the fucking dogs are a pain in the arse. As long as I don't have to kill them it's fine, but I have to kill at least one of them cause some utter moron tied a key to its collar. Hrm

Loved the atmosphere and control system of Fahrenheit, thought Heavy Rain was a Monty Python-level masterpiece of comedy, but was disappointed by the banality of Beyond.

Oh, and Omikron was also pretty funny.

I'm curious about Detroit, but it looks more banal than amusing. However, every David Cage game, even Beyond, was a singular experience worth having.

LOL.... I'm just playing Borderlands 2 now, because I figure it's a good time to get to this game finally before all the big games come out in September that I'm dying to play. But, I just realized that this game is actually 6 years old! I can't believe it's been that long. Holy crap, man does time fly.

It's funny because I actually got this game for free when I built my computer in 2012. But I never got around to playing it until now on the PS4, hahaha. Still, it absolutely blows my mind that it's been that long. Where does the time go?

I'm still waiting for some Analogue Sega consoles. Or an N64 would be cool.

Or better yet making the Super NT Mega Drive compatible somehow.

BTW before I forget, Aspro would would be into these....HDMI cables for original Xbox and the Dreamcast. Nice and affordable too...I plan on picking them up soon.

Made by Pound Technology....they're not in stock all the time so you just have to get them when possible. Supposedly, they work great though.

I like their games, Detroit was very good. I feel like I was the only person to really like beyond.

Detroit has a meta of 79 GG. So not 5/10 at all. I have reviews to write today!

I'm not as tapped into the news these days. I don't remember seeing a review round up. But in my daily trawling for some form of updates I kept seeing their new game getting either 5/10s or 3 out of 5s. I would probably enjoy their games personally bit I was wondering how QD were viewed these days after a couple more games.

So Steamworld Dig 2 is all kinda awesome. It takes a while to get going but once you get a few new toys to play with you're doing platforming you wouldn't dream of doing in other games. Really fluid controls, awesome art. Addictive as heck hacking for resources as usual. Much better than the first game too.
