So what is everyone playing this weekend? I’m on world six of Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze.
Mainly Monster Hunter World. Started up a new game of Lost Odyssey and have been delving into that as well.
^Ooooh Lost Odyssey....man I need to play that again. What an RPG.
After finishing God of War, I went back to playing a bit of Yakuza zero. I think I'm around 70% done. Great game, the PS4 visuals really help bring the world alive compared to the PS3 games.
Also messed with the PS4 version of Prey a little bit. Played through it at launch on the PC, but I do want to play through the PS4 Pro version as this was my favorite game of 2017. It's just as good as Bioshock honestly. This version is really good now...I had heard the PC version smoked the console versions at launch but I guess thing's have been patched. The only thing I can complain about is this version doesn't have the ability to change the FOV....I like setting the fov in first person to around 95 or higher...the more I can see the better. This version seems locked at 80 or so.
Oh I also started Hellblade, which is pretty cool but more of an experience than a game. At least so far. Chick is out of her tree.
Make sure you are wearing headphones. It makes the experience even better. But yes, for the first three quarters of the game it's basically a really interesting walking simulator. Combat does pick up quite a bit towards the end though, so keep your skills sharp.
I still haven't figured out how to upgrade Poppi.
Finally got some medical results. Biopsies and CT scans didn't show anything of Clinical Significance.
The Colonscopy showed I have inflammation of the terminal ileum. Where the small intestine meets the large intestine. They don't know what is causing it. They gave me some medicaiton for cramping and bloating. And they want me to try this food plan to avoid short chain molecule foods and to see what foods may be triggering it.
At any rate, I'm assuming the diet they are putting you on this kind of like an Elimination Diet? Those can suck because they are so damn bland, but stick with it. If you follow it, you can discover some pretty interesting things about what your stomach does not tolerate.
And if that is the case, before you start it do yourself a favor and make a list of activities you can do instead of eat. Half the trick with stuff like this is keeping yourself distracted when you get hungry.
I tend to have more irregular meal times these days than before and I've been told that is a bad thing as your gut doesn't know what is going on. Some of the advice was suprising, like avoiding fibre as they were hard to digest. Also sucrolose, so basically avoid fruit juice and sparkling drinks. So just drink water FFS?? Oh yeah, avoid dairy too. I might as well be eating grass and drinking water.
Ive switched away from Diet Coke (5 or 6 cans per day), and mostly just drink plain water now. Unsweetened coffee in the early mornings only. It took a couple weeks to get used to the change, but I'm feeling and sleeping a lot better now.
If only I can give up on all the chocolate candy...baby steps.
If you want it just log in and claim it.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Ha, I just bought a new pair of headphones...was inspired by this game to get a new set which I've wanted to for awhile anyway. Got the Steelseries Arctis Pro. Supposedly these are pretty top of the line.
Well it at least sounds like it's nothing major man, that's always a good thing. You can sleep a little better now.
Wow I'm not liking the sound of that RE7 streaming thing at all. Regardless of the platform, that sounds shady as hell. So you can't even BUY the game...you rent it for a few months? So it's Playstation Now but for one game. FUCK. THAT.
How is your health overall since the accident.
I don't see how it's any different from renting a game? I'd be more worried about lag. There's also a large difference between this and PSNow or Xbone Game Pass, namely that RE7 is a game that simply wouldn't be available on Switch if it were not for this streaming version.
Seems like the kind of thing they are hoping is a huge success so they can do it on every platform to me. Whether it would be available without it isn't really what concerns me. And really, how is that helping Switch players? They're getting ripped off on this compared to other platforms. Gee, instead of just buying it, I can give them $18 every time I want to play the game.
Well no news is better than bad news I suppose, GG.
Hopefully something in your diet is at least partially a culprit!
