Started playing DOOM on Switch, and there are some noteworthy things worth noting I would say. First of all, I am absolutely horrible at first person shooters. The motion aimng à la Splatoon improves things a bit, might need to try out the true gyro aiming options. Graphics are nice, altough you can't deny it's a blurry game. This is out of necessity of course, with Switch being a mobile platform and what not, but I usually don't notice these technical qualms, and here it just stands out. This might of course be due to the type of game, where I'll often be peering into the distance trying to headshot a foe before storming in, which would further draw attention to lower resolutions and overal blurriness. Third and last point: loading takes some time. Which is ok in and of itself, but the game has to reload some after every death, which can get a bit agrivating if you just want to get back into the thick of it.
20 Euros? I checked and it's £33. Your false information has enraged me!
I should clarify - in my garden or home, if I can't eat it. I don't want it grown.
The blurry visuals are one of the reasons I haven't bought it. I would probably cave with a demo.
Meh.
If it's digital only I wont pay more than £20.
Still waiting to hobo price Revelaitons 2 when it's even cheaper than it is now, in the sale.
OMG I was going through my old blogs and I totally forgot about this one. So underappreciated.
A classic.
Far Cry 5 reviews:
So I got gamefly for a month, $1, two games out. I rented sonic forces and A Way Out. My ps literally threw up sonic, it refused to play the disc lol. I fixed it but from what I played so far, it's really bad, all semblance of good level design is gone.
I am playing a way out with F1 and it's awful. It's all the boring parts of uncharted 4 made into a full game. It's totally linear, has loads of qtes, almost no choices, terrible stealth sections, big setpieces that have the controls and feel of a 90s PS1 game. We make fun of the game so that's been fun. The best parts are the slow parts where you play stupid mini games.
I think I've clocked onto Skyrims random sidequest generator.
I noticed that after being sent out for countless retrieve book/assasinate/steal from here bits. I noticed at a certain point the dialogue is so general and non-specific the characters specifically omit any specific vocal lines about details and you are just randomly passed a note or map update objective marker. I think you could do these missions forever and never run out of them. And a lot happen in caves you have already cleared out.

Wherefore art thou, Robio?
I had been thinking the same for a couple of days now. His profile says he hasn't been seen around these parts no more for 44 days...
Yeah I’ve been wondering about that as well. I hope everything is ok.
Put the perfect bait in the News today.
That’s strange. I don’t see an announcement of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 3 anywhere.
Without having watched that Far Cry 5 video, or reading the review (because both are almost definitely a waste of time; one is a YouTube video, and the other a Polygon review), I don't see the issue in principle. Far Cry 5 is certainly exploiting the present political climate. If it doesn't do anything with it, then you can make a reasonable argument that it fails for this reason.
Of course, this is not to imply that Polygon writers would be capable of making that argument.
Please shit on this and correct me if I've misunderstood the issue, as this is a statement made in ignorance.
Since Gameunder.net does not seem to be in the mood for allowing me to comment on its articles, I'll do so here:
I strongly object to the pataphysicists' coercing of the golden spiral as part of their visual language. The golden spiral is much too universally acclaimed to be coopted by a single group. Also, if such a crazy thing would indeed be established, surely the only rightfull owners of such a piece of strong visual language, would be those in the business of design and quality of life, the graphicists, architects and such. Then again, I thank the pataphysicists for helping me imagine this, albeit absurd, problem.
