I kinda view everything in the summer update as a throwaway. That's what I thought before it was revealed today. I thought it was just a nod to get people to pay up for the important DLC this winter. Truth be told what they showed today was a lot more than I was expecting. I thought it was just a Link switch tshirt and cave of trials.
Anyone else get the Dark Link BOTW outfit? Does it do anything special? I have it, but its really weak and doesn't do anything?
I would think that the hardware reveal Digital Foundry did on the Scorpio confirms that it isn't a next gen system.

Found the thread and I guess I liked Faxanadu.
It's not, GG is crazy
Nintendo is expecting to seel 35 million Switch's this fiscal year? I'd say that's a cocky prediction to make based on one month's sales.
Its ridiculous.
Yeah he and others are just talking it up. They're saying that the Scorpio is so much more powerful then the PS4 Pro that it's like it's a next gen console, not that it is their next gen console.
35 million switch software. Key word being software. They are shipping 10 million Switches this fiscal year.
Seems like a waste to me. It must have cost quite a bit to develop this thing just to use it as the 3rd version of the Xbone.
In what way that confirmed? I didn't read the whole thing. I think it's like Nintendo describing the Ds as a third pillar. If Scorpio sells well it's their next gen system. If it bombs they'll play it out as some Pro XB1 upgrade.
Sticks and stones can break my bones, but facts can't hurt me. Good call though, I missed that.

Will you be going to this GG? You should, just to enrage Vader.
I'd just rip the Hylian Shield off the wall and run.
My Review is up
A Few Weeks Later with the Nintendo Switch
Watch the video. Anyway the Scorpio just uses an evolved Jaguar CPU from the Xbox One. Regardless he even says that the Scorpio is a mid generation refresh, which it is.
That means nothing by itself. But your other points stand. I'll see how they position it at E3.
GG you better go to the zelda escape game.
That lifesize amaterasu bust looks awfull
Plain old kitch.
Microsoft announces Windows 10 S and new Surface laptop mcvuk.com
I honestly don't see who this is aimed at. The laptop is basically a Surface Pro with a sligtly larger screen, non-detachable keyboard and no digitizer to enable a digital pen. The base model is only €100 cheaper than it's Surface Pro+keyboard equivalent, and even less so if you factor in the need to pay extra to unluck true Windows 10. I guess you could argue it has some merrit for us in nations where the Surface Book isn't available, but even then it's still a meager proposition.
I don't see this selling very well. I also wonder why MS is so intent on having a gimped version of Windows 10 on the market, akin to the much maligned Windows 8 RT.
