NX rumours in updates.
GAF says they are copied from 4chan
I don’t have many details on the device itself but I do have some background for it and some PR techniques they will use for it. A thing to note about this device is that much of it’s production was started in 2014 and many of the stuff I list here was outlined by the late Satoru Iwata before his passing. Hence in the company, the NX is considered the last project of their late president. Employees since his passing utter a phrase at the end of meetings and during idea brainstorms which is “岩田のために!” which roughly translates “For Iwata!”
The importance of this is that this “new” Nintendo is highly motivated in delivering a fantastic system and games, something that I quote from an employee “have not seen this much forward momentum on a project since they launched the original Famicom”.
Interesting mock up unrelated to the story
So the hardware is all contained into the top portion, the controller is a cradle that detaches.
As the rumour goes, it connects wirelessly to any HDMI display device.
Boy, do I hope all those NX rumours are false.
If not I'll have to eat one of my hats and worse, admit to aspro having been right...
If Nintendo called their next system "Iwata" would it be bulletproofed from being panned somewhat out of respect for the dead?
The "Nintendo PUFI" Nintendo Please Understand, For Iwata
I am also fortunate enough to live 5 minutes away from the best sushi bar in Orlando. So I can fulfill your request. I'll also have sake.
That NX is amazing if true. I can walk around with the system in my hand and easily plug it into anything that has an HDMI? Wow
The stories lately are that mobile devices will surpass PS4 quite soon if not in the next couple of years. Epic showed a moble UE4 demo recentely. But how would the power and size/form heating constrain all that?
Plus if NX is some carry anywhere device then it wont have a disc drive. Back to cartridges or an all download system?
So Playstation TV has been discontinued.

Conker is starting to surpass Sonic territory in embarassment. I mean what the fuck.
One of the site's forefathers.
I suspect the base of the console will provide a disc access point, while the take-anywhere part will have a hard-drive that will have limited storage space that could probably hold a few games at a time.
I never cared for Conker so personally I couldn't care less what they did with him to be honest.
I sure hope so. I still want to have most of my games in physical format.
I'm not sold on the idea that the portable bit will be the main component. I'm still saying It'll be a 3DS and a WiiU you can ductape together at will for home console gaming or gaming on the go. It makes no business sense to merge their two 'pillars' into one. Just leaves them more vulnerable.
Or they can easily abandon one if it thrives and the other doesn't. I'm kind of digging these rumors especially the hdmi dongle. That's pretty cool.
Oh man. It looks like I'm going to have pick up Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 soon. It looks and sounds so damn good.
Pick it up for the PS4 so we can play it and Street Fighter V together!!

Oh. Wait.
Want to Help Improve SEGA?
Man, fuck this survey. To start with, Fantasy Zone wasn't available as a game to select in the favorite Sega titles section. Moreso, at the end, all it seems like they cared about was getting you to answer questions about mobile games. Yeah... they're real interested in improving their reputation.
Did you miss the part where you could list the games and your favorite series?
One of the options when they were asking you about mobile was to say how much you didn't like it and why.
I did the whole thing, listed my favorites (and made sure to include Puyo Pop and Fantasy Zone since they're apparently blackballed), and listed my greviences with mobile, as well as the few things I do like about mobile gaming. However, while I might be surprised, I've created enough corporate and customer surveys that it's not hard to look at what kind of information they were trying to pull for this. Too much information on this was dedicated to mobile, and the section about, "did you know Sega made these mobile games" actually works as much as an advertisement as it does as a questionare. This really felt more like it was about Sega getting feedback on which franchises, and what genres of games to put on mobile platforms than them reevaluating an entire strategy. Like I said, I hope I'm wrong and they take our feedback and do something good with it. I'm just not hopeful.
