Thanks for the wishes guys. And good news for me. The kids (or one of them at least) got me a copy of Splatoon! Not sure when I'll be able to play it, but it's nice to know that eventually I'll be getting my ass kicked by a bunch of Japanese whiz kids.

Capcom Publisher Sale offers deals on 3DS, Wii U

This just made me sad. I was curious to see what Capcom had on sale for the Wii U. Not counting VC games, it turns out I already have every game Capcom has released on the Wii U... all 4 of them.

Not that I ever delight in seeing a game bomb (well that's not entirely true, but not this time), but these devs may be too stupid to live. According to the interview Trine 3 was more expensive than the previous games, cost more to make than the previous games, and yet was shorter than the previous games. On what planet would this be considered a recipe for success? On top of that it had a to-be-continued non-ending.... yeah gamers love that don't they. Brilliant moves all around the board guys.

After Trine 2 the first game seemed short to me. But t2 came with the expansion. I think trine 3 was more expensive because it has going into the screen bits like a proper 3d platformer. I hope the console versions aren't affected. The story being to be continued though.... who gives a shit about story in trine? There is no story and no need for one either.
