Told myself I was going to finish Persona Q this weekend. Just crossed over the 100 hour mark. Got to the Final Boss after battling it's Guardian for over 45 minutes...
...then died. Probably should have bought the Special Edition 3DS afterall. This is one of the best **handheld** RPG's ever made.

...and not a single minute of it was tedious. The light-hearted nature of it **at first** makes it incredibly fun and engaging; once you cross over the 75% mark, the game turns serious and seriously challenging, but by that time you care soooo much about the two teams, Zen and Rei, that you cannot stop playing.
It also doesn't hurt that the developers of Q were also the developers of 3, 4 and 5. They are accutely aware of how people see their characters and play up their strengths, poke fun at their weaknesses and flesh out their storylines above and beyond their origin games. These are some of the best developed characters and Q has one of the most satisfying stories in a long, long time. They just fit the whole story so neatly in with the others and expand on 3 and 4's so well, it's sad there aren't many other devs out there capable of doing the same.
I believe it. The game feels in no way like a spin-off (which arena completely did). If they tried to pass off Q as Persona 5 I would have totally bought into it.
I've been playing Majora's Mask, just finished up the third dungeon.

This is your punishment for buying the Order.

I'm playing the shit out of Xenoblade.....72 hours in. Just when you think the combat is going to get easier, you start getting your ass kicked by more powerful foes all over again. I keep getting gangraped by mechs in the mechon city. Good times.
That game is the RPG equivalent of a Duracell battery.
I loved Stick of Truth. It's so much fun especially for Paper Mario fans.

Well I believe you.
..yer momma.
Dang, 100 hours? I'm suddenly feeling intimidating.

If, as you say, Sega bought Atlus just so they can pump out Persona games... more power to 'em!

Well I'm not sure if she believes you or not. I'll ask her tomorrow and get back to you.

This
And this
And then this
Today I didn't move onto anything new, so still working that out.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileA Phil Fish game I genuinely enjoyed:
Open Season (2006, Ubisoft, as level designer)

I just walked in. What did I miss? Vader are you posting somewhere professionally now?
As long as they own Atlus, they are relevant.
Everyone hates him now because he gave Diablo 3 a 6.
No but I posted a slightly negative review (that is still technically positive) and now I am crazy. I feel bad for McShae now.
