Are you planning on getting MH4 on launch? I'm definitely getting it at some point, and should some people here get it on day 1 (I'm looking at you Bugsy! ), I might be persuaded to get it on release. I'll be getting one of those second analog slider craddle thingies as well. I've seen that they're still available in shops here, and €20 for one of those beats paying somewhere in the region of €175 for a whole new system.
As much as I wanted probably not. Not at launch anyway. I just have too hard of a time playing action games on handhelds. And despite Capcom repeatedly saying there will be no console version I'm still hoping for one.

I think its more pointless to buy a game that's only a few years old that only has an HD facelift. This is a good way to get these games into the hands of people who want to buy them at a very reasonable price.
So you're praising the advantages of having games "that are only a few years old".... with..... no benefits?
They are only half price for a week then they are £18 which is more expensive than buying some older current gen games at the moment. I can get Arkham Origins or the COD games for £12. So if they are going to be £18, make them HD. If they are not, then enable the patch to use my current Wii games on U actually using the controls on the U pad.
I can't believe your kids used your discs as ice skates, you should fling the discs back at him like Arnie threw circular saws about in Commando.
Instead they could have just enabled a patch to let me control my Wii games actually using the U gamepad buttons.

Nintendo asks "Do you want a new Metroid for your WiiU console? Here's Metroid Prime Trilogy."
In SD glory.
Still, the Metroid Prime trilogy for £8 is a frigging steal and I'll get wiimote aiming. So, yeah that is okay. If it were in HD though... whoa.
I was thinking about Xenoblade Chronicles would be cool to release on Wii U but it might defeat the purpose of the New 3DS remake.
Which is fine by me.
I guess you could consider the £8 fee for a Wii game to play on U - like paying the token upgrade fee on Virtual console games you already own on Wii.
Now you get to play them on the Upad using the controller in perfect 480p instead of upscaled garbage. But it's a bit steep a fee for that. If Nintendo has worked out how to run wii games through U so it can use the U pad controls, miiverse etc then they should patch the U so we can play our Wii game discs using the Upad controller.
A new Rhythm Heaven project is in development for 3DS and planned for a summer 2015 release in Japan, Nintendo announced during its Japanese Nintendo Direct broadcast this morning.
The game will compile the best mini-games of the previously released Rhythm Heaven games for Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Wii, as well as 30 new mini-games, for a total of over 100 rhythm-based mini-games.

*gasps* Hytool Warriors? Oh the humanity!
I'm hoping for one as well.
Same here butbutbut MONSTER HUNTER
Me too, but I don't believe we'll see it.
At least give the inevitable demo a shot.
That Monster Hunter New 3DS looks pretty sweet too.
A demo where I have 4 download codes for.
Let the begging commence!

It would be cool to get Pikmin 2 Wii edtion and The Last Story for £8.
