Nintendo of Europe
@NintendoEurope 1 hr1 hour agoIn Excitebike Arena the location of ramps and speed boosts change every time in regular races!
#MK8 pic.twitter.com/i5E4boRH1ZExcitebike Arena is part of the 1st DLC pack coming to Mario Kart 8 next month!
#MK8 Trailer: http://youtu.be/I_b4o8kphRc pic.twitter.com/QHVrYOxD1MJust came across another sucky W101 section, second Vorkken fight. Not clear what works or doesn't. Unite guts is slowly becoming useless too. Then you ditch your team and fight alone as a tiny speck.
Its a cool game but it has some issues.
While I agree with Edge that it has some issues, how can you NOT love the Vorkken battles? The best battles are always those against opponents of similar size and cunning IMO. I can't recall the details from the Vorken battles, but once you figure each attack out it isn't all too hard. Hand = block with guts. Hammer = get some distance between you and Vorky. Boomerang thingy = leaves Vorkken undefended (if I recall correctly).
Oh Wii U owners, quick note for you. The Digital Deluxe Program ends at the end of this year. So once December 31st rolls around you'll no longer get that 10% eShop credit for your digital purchases. And any points you've accrued will need to be cashed in by March 31st. On the DDP site they moved up this announcement a little more prominantly than it has been over the past two years so something is going to change with it.
I suspect that Nintendo will actually keep the program running, or start something new in it's place, but just in case it's good to be aware of it.
DID SOMEONE SAY DP?!
DID SOMEONE SAY DP?!
Yes, defintely. Thankfully most of it has been great to me so far, then there are finnicky bits. The camera controls when you go into upad view suck.
First fight was cool, second seems assy. He hits you too often, even when recovering so you run about to pick up all your dazed troops and he just whacks you again and here we go again. Then his attacks seem to nail you quite easily, whilst you can only really hit him with the whip as you'll never get close enough to hit him with anything else and your gun always misses. Then your block move doesn't work, so what's the point of a block move? When you are close range his troops and yours make it tough to see what's going on as they mix.
And finally when you take your hand off the upad to draw on the screen, you can't hit the dodge button when he attacks.
No. I said DDP. The only possible misinterpretation would be confusing it for this guy:
WHO DAT?
WHO DAT?
I never drew the morphs on the screen, always used the analogue stick. And I used the hammer most to attack him. I used the hammer mostly for everything as it's the most powerfull weapon, only switching to a huge sword when I need extra reach. Anyway, I found the battles to be challenging but fair. The rules for his attacks are consistent, and you have enough time to respond. Like I said earlier, when he throws his boomerang there's a nice window to attack him, as he will be unguarded by his minions.
Eurogamer reviews Wildstar:
Unfortunately the avatar design process barely allows for individuality, especially with regard to female characters, all of which - including the robots - are required to have large tits and tiny waists.
That is equally so very much signature for the games industry as it is hilariously without purpose.
Scrotum Knight? o_0
Some balls of steel on that knight. I bet he killed all of the dragons everywhere.
