I always liked the bustling anarchy of the Wii(U) start screens.  Why would you want to hide that behind bland folders?

Fatal Frame: Nuregarasu no Miko - Famitsu review details

Famitsu said:

Reviewer 1

The familiar attacking item of the series, Camera Obscura, is a good match for the Wii U GamePad. It feels like you are looking through a big camera. Taking photos by tilting the GamePad is fun and adds plenty of feeling to be there. The controls are sluggish being tuned to a horror game, but on the other hand, it does add the feeling of fear. The costumes which can be obtained while playing are quite radical so do they also have an effect to neutralize scariness!?

Reviewer 2

The mechanism to use the Wii U GamePad as a camera to take pictures is good in creating the sense of being there. The battle system is exciting and it involves capturing vengeful spirits by moving and tilting the GamePad at the right moment. The scenery which is influenced by water has good atmosphere and sexy elements like seeing through wet clothes are nice. Although the poor maneuverability of the character’s movement and viewpoint incites fear, at the same time it feels irritating.

Reviewer 3

The game makes great use of the Wii U’s GamePad. It is unique in the sense it is both your map as well as your camera. As the game is built around the potential failure to take a picture at the right moment, it adds a lot to the atmosphere and story. The player character stands out as a girl with sexy stances and beautiful expressions, and while this makes it less horrifying, it is something that those who appreciate horror movies can look forward to.

Reviewer 4

As a ghost may appear at any time and you don’t want to miss your chance to take the picture, it is necessary to have the Wii U GamePad ready in your hands. Since the GamePad is used as a Camera Obscura in fights, battles have greater sense of being there. There is an abundance of things that cause fear and that’s great. It is of course recommended to use headphones and if possible, play in a pitch black room, stare at the GamePad, and have a thrilling time!

I created one folder titled Annoying Stuff and just put everything on the Wii U menu I never use. The only things not in that folder are Games, Mii Maker, Wii menu, and System Settings. I might be forgetting one thing I left on the Wii U menu.

I might create more folders when I get more games.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

I listened to the last GameUnder Podcast over the weekend, first time I listened to the whole thing.  Just wanted to let you guys know that you made some good points in your FPS-TPS comparision.  You also seem to use a lot of big words despite aiming to tutor the masses.  But those big words might mostly be Foolz, while I seem to recall that the part about the masses was mainly Aspro  Nyaa .

Aspro is the naive conformist socialist. I am the misanthropic national socialist. It's actually a socialist podcast.

However, my tutelage is more effective: he teaches proletariats words they already know; I teach them new ones.

Pro-le-ta-ri-ats?  indecision

Anyhow, my belief is that big words are used by people who have little to say.  Instead of making sense they just seek to stupify and confound their adversaries with an onslaught of big, but ultimately hollow, terms and jargon.  As was also briefly discussed in the podcast, if I'm not mistaken .

So for example, you could have said peasants, instead of reverting to proletariats, despite not being wholely identic in their meaning.

NWR Art of Balance - review

Seriously, I played the game on the Wii, but calling it a classic?  It was a fun diversion, but little more.  The solution was almost always painfully apparent.  This game seems to be getting an amount of coverage that eclipses the actual quality of the game by a large margin.

The one thing I don't like about Art of Balance is that it's almost too good.

Ah what a day, what a night. So I jumped up to kill an insect on the ceiling and as I landed back down on the bed I heard a snap. Looked underneath and the bed slats had snapped. After a torridly bad nights sleep I had to drive around for miles to get to a timber yard. Now I have to fix this thing before tonight.

Just be honest,  you were boning some woman really hard and the bed broke, right?

I only played the demo and I loved it but it seemed too easy, this review says the latter levels are hard? I assume they added content to the U version too? From what I played it's Shinens' best game which makes it about a solid 8/10.

its actually a bit better than its contemporaries, particularly Shadows of Mystara (remember its a two game collection). The games have branching paths, hidden rooms, selectable secondary weapons, abilities, and spells and a good sized roster to choose from.
