I've been playing Watch Dogs and some Bravely Default here and there although mostly I've just been leaving my 3DS on and letting my busy little minions rebuild Norende.
Ok, just downloaded my free game, NSMB U. I already have a physical copy, but I'm thinking I can trade it in. Maybe even use the credit for the game I really wanted to download, Wonderful 101. Fuck you, Reggie!
I've been playing Watching the World Cup 2014, and holy shit is it better than its predecessor 2010.
LOL.
Hope it gets fixed Edge.
I've been playing Zelda ALBW, great game. That Ice dungeon was hairy though, quite detailed, multilevelled mind fuck. After some consideration I don't really like the item renting mechanic. It's kind of nice, but the items themselves should be priced better to actually buy. You end up renting a whole load, then dying and losing 4 or 5 at once. Or you can just rent everything, die, then quit and reload and voila, you still have the items. While I enjoy taking on dungeons in random order it doesn't really change or bring anything new to the game in real terms. i prefer finding the right item in the right dungeon and owning it outright. Also, I wasn't given my bugs net till I had polished off 5 Lorule dungeons, so I couldn't even stash fairies till almost the end of the game.
It will be master race when I'm playing the only version of Witcher 3 that looks like what they've been showing. hahaha
Ubisoft will destroy your PC long before it launches.
From Treehouse Live, Day 2, with the developers:
So what would Splatoon single player be like? First thing that comes to mind is bosses, complex, engaging ones. Then limited ammo not just continuous fire. Enemies need to be different, maybe some with sheilds, you have to use specific moves to beat them like pop up from below or squid up walls and drop down on top of.
I guess a story, something, anything to engage the player, maybe they live in Toonland and there's a tyrannical yada yada. Levels built not like arenas, but more like a 3rd person shooter. Some natural levels too not industrial, natural geography. Underwater bases?
Stealth takedowns? Grenades? Maybe some water pools like in De Blob for wiping off muck which weighs you down.
Single Player has to somehow provide the origins of Cat that judges the matches between the Inklings.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
One thing bugging me about Zelda ALBW is that you can't annotate the map like the DS Zeldas. There are these pins but you end up sticking them down and later you can't remember why.
If the Inklings (horrible name) play Splatoon for sports, why should the single player be any different? I can see this more like Mario Kart 8 or any other sports game, where the single player is just a set of tournaments in different arena's. I also don't see the mechanics working in larger environments. When your basic attack has limited range, that limits the diversity of the level design.
I don't like the custom loadouts though.
Holy fuck, Ubisoft downgraded the Watch Dogs PC graphics for some unknown reason, maybe so that it looks like the console versions. Some modder found the original graphics in the files of the game, they make the game look amazing. Look at this?!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bwd55NvmHW8
They purposely removed the graphics, holy shit.
Yes, the rumour is that it was for stability issues. Q and A I guess. I posted the story earlier.
Far Cry 4's Lead Development Platform Is PC This is good news, for Edgecrusher
It would be better news if they said it was run by Steam and not Uplay. Doesn't matter how powerful your rig is when its hampered by shitty services like that.
Sleeping Dogs for PS4 & Xbox One appears on UK retailer
Yeah it really doesn't look close to what they originally showed. Baffling that they downgraded it on PC. Maybe they just didn't want to piss off the console crowd.
Hot damn, those Watchdogs PC visuals.
WatchDogs 2 graphics confirmed.
Holy shit! Square-Enix just upgraded my PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIV (which I bought last Saturday for $12) to the superior PS4 version for FREE! A friend of mine told me they were doing this free upgrade for anyone owning the PS3 version until the end of this year. I'm downloading the PS4 version right now.
BTW, PS4 downloads sooo much faster than PS3! It's about twice as fast!
