Polygon COD: Ghosts XBONE better than PS4
Call of Duty: Ghosts suffers from consistent framerate drops on the PS4, especially during multiplayer when action got especially hectic. The Xbox One version suffered no such drops

Project CARS dev comments on Wii U tech
On the CPU side, WiiU also supports multi-threaded rendering that scales perfectly with the number of cores you throw at it, unlike PC DX11 deferred contexts which don't scale very well.

Gaming has always been about hype and marketing BS. As we have become older, we are just noticing it more than when we were kids.
Me:

**Not bad for a F2P! Looks good, cooperative play is awesome and will pass the time nicely while waiting for more games to come!**
**Completely under-rated game! Injects some great new ideas to the Rogue genre!**

What about the rest of you, Suckers?![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
You could be right, I will get a PS 4 eventually.
I've been playing NSMBU, 3D Land, and DKCR 3D this weekend.![Happy](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-smile.gif)
...but Bear, we --ARE-- playing games! Killzone online is just as good as any other FPS out there right now. Warframe is a F2P that can literally last for months and months! Flower is free for PS Plus subscribers, as is Sound Shapes, as is Contrast. Sony gives you $10 for the PSN store, so I bought Super Motherload... There are more things to do along with just gaming **as in streaming videos** but we ARE playing games!
I don't think it's the becoming older that's making it more noticable. Back then videogames was a nerdy niche hobby, nowadays is ubiquitous and mainstream. That's why the marketing and the bullshit is on a much larger scale

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
This sucker played a ton of Batman: Arkham Origins, Wii Sports Club and a tiny bit of GTA V. I'm finding it difficult to find time for GTA. I either play at night after the kids are in bed or I don't get a chance to play. The problem is that I've been too tired most nights and end up in bed instead. My attempt to hook up my PS3 at work proved to be futile, so no GTA today.![Sad](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-frown.gif)
I've pretty much been exclusively playing Hometown Story, and likely will until Zelda and Mario come out. Very enjoyable once it clicks, though I will say once again an actual goal really would have turned this from a good game into an excellent one.
I can't believe Nintendo is forcing me to choose between Mario and Zelda.
They're not. Buy both!![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
Raven, remember that $60 you owed me?
But what about every other launch? The ps3 launch ? Ps2? 360? None of those had great games. The days of that one super launch game is basically done. So what you are saying is every console launch sucks and no one should buy them?
Okay, I just played a bit of the Zombi U demo. Graphically, it looks like an upscaled Wii game. After playing The Last of Us, Zombi U looks laughably bad. It appears that this is going to be a brutally hard game, as I died within five minutes. At least I got to try a game that uses the Upad more, but it really doesn't make it fun going back and forth from the TV to the Upad so often. I'd rather just have everything on one screen, to be honest.
By the way, while a good number of us are here. I got a 30 Day free trial of Playstation Plus with my PS4. I am pretty sure you could use this code for a PS3 as well. Anyone want it? PM me! **With nude pics!**Edit: Offer has Expired!
Which console had the last GOOD launch? I'd say the Wii with Wii Sports AND Zelda!
Yup it was the wii, and that monster game was actually a GC game.
The Wii was a good launch. I remember being pissed that Nintendo was forcing me to get that god-awful Wii Sports with the system, and then I ended up playing it more than Zelda and Excite Truck that first week.![LOL](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
The Dreamcast also had a great launch. I bought four games day one: Sonic Adventure, Soul Cailbur, Hydro Thunder, and Powerstone.
Wii Sports was the true console seller, the ultimate launch game in many ways.

maybe I'm just jealous, I want but really can't afford it now ....
