Guys, the PC version of Deus Ex HR DC is fucked, buyer beware.
"This game runs like shit. In certain moments it doesn't even matter if you're running DX9 on lowest settings at 720p, the framerate on my hd6850 hits below 30fps. Hilarious, specially after playing Bioshock Infinite/Tomb Raider/Far Cry 3 at pretty high fidelity, at 900p.. "
Wow, this is even worse than Aspro's Super Mario Bros video walkthrough.
Fucking Australians.
?
With no exaggeration, I must say, Pokemon X / Y have to be the most in-depth, enjoyable, ambitious, online-functional, graphically pleasant, fun to play, well-designed games Nintendo's --EVER-- put out! They are literally flawless and embody the spirit of everything that makes Nintendo great. The more you play, the more depth is revealed; there are sooo many intricacies that you can but don't have to get into. We're talking almost MMO depth, but in a 3DS game. It's very nearly mind-boggling the more I think about everything they've packed into these games. This is to Pokemon what Super Metroid and Prime were to their series, what Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past were to their series, what Galaxy and Super Mario 3 were to their series. These very well could be the best selling games this holiday season and will single-handedly boost 3DS sales into the realm of DS sales.
Yeah. That good.
So we're talking GOTY quality huh? Cool. I look forward to playing this after I get tired of Hometown Story (since apparently my Wii U is never coming back). The game was pretty much crack to her for the last couple weeks, and was the main reason I never got to progress much in SMT4. Now that she's done with Victory Road she's chilled out a little and it's easier to get play time with the system. I'll definitely spend time with it later this month.
I don't think it will be my GOTY, but I can very easily see --A LOT-- of other people deeming it so. If people have registered hundreds upon hundreds of hours into the GB, GBC and GBA versions, my god, this one could be "the one" game someone plays exclusively for months... or years...
Between the multiple Pokedex, the variations on the Pokemon, the Online Trading, the Online Battles, the Breeding...
I mean, just LOOK at this article on Breeding alone! I don't expect people here to fully "get it" but look at the dedication of some players and the system that was implemented by the designers to facilitate breeding the best of the best... So much more than: "Pikachu! I choose YOU!" now... Sends the mind reeling.
I am glad you're enjoying Hometown Story! I hope to, too, if my little plan doesn't backfire and make me even more depressed than I've been for the last few months. I was enjoying it immensely before I hatched my little plan, so I hope that doesn't kill it for me. SMT4 I've finished once already, but plan on going back to. I am super curious how Persona fans will take to it, as it shares some similarities, but is also very different. All three of those games have serious LEGS and represent some of the best portable games ever!
Nintendo already thinking about the next Animal Crossingedge-online.com
I haven't touched New Leaf in over a week. I think it's safe to say that I'm done with the series now.
Good luck!
Why would someone buy a Wii U to play superior "current gen" games when they probably already have a "current gen" console, though?
The door behind the elvis dude on windfall has tingle, save him and beat the maze in that cell, then see Lenzo in town.
Who said anything about buying it for superior current gen? You buy for exclusives and are happy that multiformat devs are bettering their performance from last year, where most games were slightly under current gen performance. Most of these games also have extras too, with the upad functionality, wiimote use, offscreen play, realtime maps and inventory, miiverse use and usually bundled with DLC too. The complete and utter lack of screen tearing on the system is a plus too, aside from darksiders 2.
Oh come on Capcom. It looks like the digi release isn't the only cheap thing about the western version.
Exactly, they're nice to have around (and be the best version) but who really cares about the ports? No one, because they're ports of old games, not because of the low install base: "It is very sad that the Wii U install base is so low that these ports are not getting any attention."
My comment was in reply to the thing you quoted rather than you, but I must not have clicked quote all. (And yes I know they weren't saying people should be going out and buying consoles for them either.)
Was this part of the original? I don't remember.
Yes.
Existing U owners who want games to play, or best of editions with access to the full feature set of games like Deus Ex HR and NFS Most Wanted.
Also a lot of these games are not old, Arkham, Blacklist, Rayman, AC4, Watchdogs, Ghosts etc.
DF/JF: Battlefield 4 PS4 vs XB1 videos/screens (900p PS4, 720p XB1)
Needless to say, there are some basic differences in image quality that need knocking on the head right away. Chief among them is the hot topic of internal resolution, where we determine that the Xbox One code is indeed running at 1280x720. If this is set in stone for release - as is likely - the Microsoft version is poised to give us the most aliasing of the two next-gen platforms by a noticeable degree, and is only a stone's throw from the sub-720p resolutions of current-gen releases. On the other hand, the PS4 version delivers a whopping 1600x900 resolution in all modes, giving it a 50 per cent lead in output pixels overall. As well as cutting down on jagged edges, this reduces the amount of pixel shimmer we see in motion on complex shaders or thin geometry, with distant power lines, scaffolding and other elements with sub-pixel elements creating unwanted flickering on Xbox One.

Black Flag would’ve done much better to be a fraction of its size and a lot more focused, with more complex mechanics and probably no connection to Assassin’s Creed. What you’ve got instead is game that’s as wide as the seven seas but as deep as a paddling pool.
