I just finished Pikmin 3...Great game, but lets discuss the last part.  Not the boss, but Formidable Oak.

spoilers…......

spoilers..

WHAT THE FUCK!  Seriously, what the fuck!  What a major spike in difficulty that caught me off guard. The first four areas... I'm breezing through them. La dee da!  Then the final area is just madness.

Try the timed missions, they are really good

I'm just gonna wait on all those games. I'm not dying for anything right now really.

Just got done playing more Unreal....man these old school games are serious shit. No hand holding...no telling you where to go next. Just throw you in there and its every man for himself. Sometimes I forget gaming was like this.

Been playing Diablo III and Project X Zone, finished both recently. Diablo III is a really excellent game that I'll keep playing for quite some time yet. Project X Zone was pretty good too but mostly just fantastic fan service. It was a freakin' long game, took me nearly 76 hours to play through.

Kind of crazy that Rockstar decided to only have the single player of GTAV reviewed. No reviews cover GTA Online. So basically every review is of the single player, only half the game you are buying. And it still got near perfect scores.

It would not surprise me if they were having server issues or anticipated some. What game at launch doesn't? A bad online experience right now could have actually hurt the score. As it is the main game seems more than enough.

Imagine if people reviewed all the first-person shooters this way? What kind of scores would they get?

Anyway...I have excellent news. I got the Knights Of The Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod installed on my PC!!!! Its all the content that Obsidian had to cut out of the original game because Lucasarts didn't give them enough time, and supposedly it makes the game quite a bit better and more stable than it was before. Like a Director's Cut. It adds a whole extra fucking planet!

I can't wait to check it out...may have to soon.

Not surprised people are getting out of control with insane amounts of perfect scores for GTA 5...I don't take them seriously the same way I didn't with GTA 4. This is one of those few franchises where they are nearly required to give it these scores. One day, I will play it and judge for myself.

I still have KOTOR and KOTOR 2, last one modded and both ready to play.

I've tried to start KOTOR three times now. Always something gets in the way and the game fails to hold my interest.

You can definitely play it. Even for a 2005 release it doesn't have very high spec requirements, and the mod is easy to install.

I could not stop playing Kotor when it first came out...but the games do feel a bit dated compared to Mass Effect. I really wish they would make KOTOR 3 with all the modern updates that have come since Kotor 2 released. And maybe they will...doesn't EA have the rights to Star Wars games now? Get Bioware on that shit.

What was great about KOTOR is that its the dark side of Star Wars....the more edgy, adult oriented side. Its the way we all would prefer the movies to be. Kotor was in many ways what Star Wars should be.

Some company has the license for it and its just sitting around. They see all these other developers doing Kickstarters and probably figure "what the hell why not us"? Just because they're going to do a Kickstarter though doesn't necessarily mean go get the funding. I need to update my thread with a few more games that probably won't be getting theirs.

Rockstar is notorious for doing stuff like that.
