WayForward Confirms Mighty Switch Force! 2 For Wii U
This makes me happy. I liked Mighty Switch Force a lot, and I'm still unsure if I'll ever be grabbing a 3DS again.
Kinect No Longer Mandatory For Xbox One (But Will Still Come With It)
So I don't have to use Kinect at all, but I still have to buy one to get an Xbone?
Fuck you, MS!
Kind of funny how they have completely reversed everything with this console before it has even released. By the time it comes out there is going to be nothing wrong with it, outside of the stigma MS has attatched to themselves about being willing to change their mind on a dime about anything and everything....which is good and bad.
Kind of like Zombi U!
Speaking of, I finally got my brother to try Zombi U today, and he loves it. LMAO
I had been telling him how great the game was for months...how I thought it was the best game on the system and one of the best horror games in ages. All he kept saying was "Eh...it got mixed reviews though" and refused to try it...even going so far as to tell me my love of horror has clouded my judgement on quality.
So now he finally plays it and loves it.....
I still need to get that game. I enjoyed the demo, but not enough for full price. Second that game hits $30 though I'll grab it. Basically it'll be race between Zombie U and Lego City. Whichever gets cheaper faster will get my money.
SOLD!
Just a random thought, and sorry for the language:
WHY THE FUCK HAS NINTENDO NOT COMMISSIONED SQUENIX TO BRING AN HD THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU TO Wii U YET?!
The GamePad would be --IDEAL-- for that game!!
I've thought that if nothing else they would put TWEWY: Solo Remix on the system just to take advantage of the touch screen.
Well what do you know? It's on my Amazon wishlist and i have a birthday coming up soon, so I'm going to see if one of the family members decides to get it for since it's now entering the realm of reasonable price.
Big LBP announcement tomorrow! Maybe LBP3.
It better be PS4.
Vita.
It's going to tank due to DA2.
Microsoft are nihilists. They believe in nothing.
You wait and see, they'll pressure devs to put some peripheral Kinect features in their games so that you don't have to have it plugged in, only when you want to actually play a game or do something with the X1.
I wonder how much this will impact sales. Out of the 3 consoles, Nintendo's is the only one that guarantees you it'll have enough exclusives worth having that won't ever show up on Steam.
Also, with the arrival of Steam and their aggressive pricing, along with PC games these days being made with older tech in mind, I see more and more people using their PC's to play non-exclusives on. Heck, I've been a console gamer for 25 years and I've only started gaming on my PC somewhere in 2012. Because Steam took away the hassle. Because I could buy a cheap wired 360 controller and pretend I was just gaming on a smaller TV. Because using my laptop I already own was way cheaper then buying another console.
I can't see many reasons why I would want a PS4 or X1 at this point in time. It'll take the arrival of many unsuspected, fresh, games to convince me to buy one, and it will be years down the road.
I bought ZombiU on launch, but haven't opened it yet. Damn game is retailing for half the price these days.
For Robio.
When Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii came out, I was not a PC gamer AT ALL! The only game I had ever played on PC at that time was Warcraft 3, because I never had a good PC. I was always a console guy.
In 2008 I built my own PC, and played Crysis on max settings. I was hooked. I saw how easy and, at the same time, in depth gaming on the PC could be. Then when I found Steam, I was amazed...its like Xbox Live on the PC...for free, with much better deals. Last year, I sold my PC to a friend and built another one...which I have now. Its such a powerhouse that it already outclasses anything the new consoles can do and I know I'm set for at least 5 years in terms of upgrading. Meanwhile, Steam has become even better....with big picture mode its like having a PC and console in one.
I was thinking about this just the other day...Steam is a game changer in many ways. And the more companies that use it as their service, the better. Its EXACTLY what PC needed; It simplified the experience and made it a shitload more user-friendly.
Again, this is why I cancelled my PS4 pre0order. I was like "Do I really need to spend $400 on a new console right now that's going to mostly have games I can get on the PC?" Until PS4 or Xbox start ripping out insane amounts of badass exclusives, I see zero reason to jump in. I am always tempted by the allure of new hardware, but its gotten to the point where I can resist, because I know I don't NEED it.
EDIT: Oh, I also have my PC hooked up to my 60 inch TV...so I'm not even sacrificing screen size or sound. Another reason to be happy.
I take it, this is Rocket Raccoon from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie?
LBP: Brawl for All . . . for PS3.
