Platinum Games is a fantastic developer. I totally loved Vanquish and Bayonetta. The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta are two very big reasons for me wanting a Wii U.
The only thing making Bayonetta 2 vaguely appealing is touch screen controls, casual mode and Nintendo gameplay perfectionists helping.
GG in Xenoblade im at a mechon village.
Sonic Lost World trailer!
I still need to finish it I stopped playing around Colony 6 I don't know if I reach it or if I was on my way to it.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
I'm on day 47 about 15 hrs into Pikmin 3, trying to collect all fruit, just unlocked the last level, I think...
Haven't tried the other modes, mission etc. Has anyone else?
God damn, putting your C.V. on Monsterboard, really unleashed a rabid hoard on recruiters unpon you. I have been called like 12 times today.
Hey jackasses if engineers are that wanted, maybe you should pay them more. Maybe more people will become engineers that way and you would not have a massive shortage of them.
Also finish Xenoblade you incompetent jackasses.
You should have them fight to the death over you.
And I'm working on it.
I got a platinum rank for the full chapter in W101. I got a feww pure platinum medals in some of the missions. The stupid tank with the cannon always messes me up.
Um
Nope....the other modes seem designed for multi-player. Too bad there is no online mode.
BTW once you finish the game it seems to lock it down on the last day...you click on the last day and it says this is a completed game, and doesn't do anything. So I guess you have to go to previous days to keep playing? Weird.
Wow, this kind of idiotic reasoning is why Nintendo is in the spot they are in. Price is an issue cause no one wants to buy your soon to be underpowered system period. And the people that do want to buy it OF COURSE WANT THE GOOD VERSION. Yes software is the main issue but soon price will be just as big.
This is Iwata's way of saying no price drop soon. Its going to be very very ugly for Wii U this holiday season.
Gamecube had some agressive price cutting too but it still did little in the face of the PS2. In the UK at least. Wii U is a great console, as an owner that's my opinion, but the perception among gamers, the media and non-owners is terrible regarding it. Many people who don't own it really don't understand what it does or the added value you get from it.
They need to change the perception vs the reality because at the moment perception is framing reality. Lend a Wii U to someone for a week with Zombi U, Nintendoland with friends, Pikmin 3 and a few choice apps/demos and I think they'd have an almost wholly positive opinion on it. With better games - and there are a shitload between now and Spring, the library will be very good. Third party commitment is the sticking point. And really this power argument is retarded too, if it was as powerful as PS4 and had the same lineup as it did now - launching in 2012, the console would cost more and still wouldn't be selling because third parties still aren't supporting it. Nintendo adding 6 gbs more RAM and 5 more cpu cores would do fuck all for them. It might actually kill them financially. And with Deep Down being a massive fake out, where are all these next gen games that look soooo much better than what Wii U can do anyway?
None of that will matter when the PS4 is $50 more. Its going to be a massacre. Software will increase sales a bit, price drop the same, only both at the same time and a relaunch with a new ad campain could actually get this thing going. If not it will just linger around with 15-20 million sold in a generation which is garbage.
Dragon Age 3 looking fantastic!
Thank the gods that Dragon Age 3 looks more like the 1st game.
The power of the Wii U is fine to me. Its not a cutting edge PC, but neither are the Xbox One or the PS4. Having a killer PC, a slight power advantage in the console wars doesn't really mean shit to me anymore because my PC is better than all of them anyway. To me it comes down to the software and the Price of admission. This is why I decided not to get the PS4 this year....just not enough exclusives to justify the $400. Because most of the non-exclusive games I am getting on my PC.
So for me, the Wii U is pretty equal or even greater than the other consoles because they have great exclusives. I mean by the end of this year U owners will have Pikmin 3, Legend Of Zelda: WindWaker HD, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Super Mario Land, The Wonderful 101, on top of older stuff like Zombi U and Lego City...pretty great list of exclusives.
For people that don't game on the PC...I can see why they would pick the PS4 or Xbox over Wii U...because their console IS their PC so they want the one that has the most to choose from. But I will never understand people that game on the PC and still say the Wii U is 3rd place for them.
God these Duck Tales reviews are all over the freaking place. How hard was it to review this thing? The scores are going from 9's to 4's.
