Dragon's Crown (80) Review
As a side-scrolling brawler, Dragon’s Crown is deep and loaded with replay. As an example of 2D art in gaming, it’s unequalled.

Yes it was. (Brink) I so wanted to like that game.
Sadly, I only read their "controversial" reviews, so I am part of the problem. Take the following with Gamespot (and this particular review) completely out of your mind; eight out of ten is a very high score so when I see it and everyone else is higher than that, I tend to think, "Okay, maybe this is a reviewer using the scale a bit more thoughtfully than the usual reviewer".
I am hopeless with the ten point scale myself. My ten point scale is usually this:
8.0 = Mediocre,
8.5 = Good,
9 = Better than Good, but I don't want to give it a 10,
10 = Great Game
and then everything below 8.0 is when I am really annoyed by a game and I'll give it anything from 0-7.5 depending on how pissed off I am.
I think I definately need to switch to a 5/5 system. But then, 3 would be the new 8.
3 is closer to 2.5 than 8 is to 5.
I meant by my skewed scale.
Yes, but if 3 becomes your 8 mediocre rating, it's still closer to the actual mediocre marker than 8 is on a 10 scale.
Foolz after years I finally have to ask. Just what the fuck is that in your signature?
This.
This is the reason I made my site a 5 point system. A game really shouldn't become "acceptable" at the 8 point mark.
Huh, are you only playing it now?
Geez Archangel welcome to march lolololololo
I'm heading towards a catastrophic turnip crash with 1 million invested in turnips guys. Keep an eye on those prices and let me know STAT.
LOLOLOLOLOL, I just watched the new Deep Down trailer, massive downgrade from what was the only next gen looking game. The snippets shown are too poor to be dodgy cgi. And now it's an online game? Hell no.

Wait it gets worse: "The game’s genre is a "memory reading RPG" or "reading RPG" as see in katakana. The teaser site also mentions deep down requires an internet connection and is an online exclusive similar to Dragon’s Dogma Quest."
Deep Down

ROFL
Yes it is. The character stuff is skippable, but the game itself is really well done.
GAF: "Deep Down looks fucking awesome!! No downgrade at all. This is the power of PS4. And I love the fact that you need to always be connected.

Day one."
WTF GG!
What happened?!
