Someone on GAF is taking native resolution screens of the PS2/Xbox generation
This screen, I always remember people posting the PC version and saying that is how it looked on PS2.
Nope.
Xenoblade is really an incredible game....has everyone here played it?
If not, I know what you're thinking "I want to play it...I really do. But I just don't feel like reverting back into the Wii era yet again at this point."
Trust me; DO IT!!! The game is AAA in every possible way. Its one of those RPG's that never feels like a chore. Even moving around the world feels good and lacks any of the tedius bullshit that many of the best RPG's have. Also, even though its built on Wii tech, the graphics engine is one of those rare breeds where the vision shines through the technical shortcomings...it doesn't HURT to look at it. And the sound is totally badass.
MUST. PLAY. MORE.
Great game, so easy to play, such a pleasure. I remember many hours in discovering that all characters would level almost equally. So you could actually swap out characters without finding some are weak and some powerful. It gives you the incentive to experiment.
Our thread is here, Iga, Me, Archie and Vader played it a lot. I think Steel just tried it for a bit.
Xenoblade is why I'm excited for X.
Also, playing Xenoblade and The Last Story to a lesser extent really pisses me off. Because all I can think is:
HOW DID NINTENDO ALMOST REFUSE TO RELEASE A GAME THIS GOOD IN AMERICA??!!
Seriously...you go and BUY Monolith Software, a developer with som of the best RPG talent in Japan. Then have them craft one of the best RPG's ever made....and force your quality game starved audience to BEG you to release it in America? At which point you merely do a limited, Gamestop only release?
This is the kind of move I seriously hope Nintendo has moved on from with the death of the Wii...because its the DUMBEST thing they have done in a long time. Way to win back the hardcore! Idiots.
GG, this game is closer in quality to Xenogears on the PS1, which is also a total classic. Xenosaga Trilogy on the PS2 was GOOD, but it also had some serious issues. Xenoblade may be the best game they have made. We'll see.
That Factor 5 N64 Indiana Jones game never came out here and I think it was a blockbuster exclusive?
You're missing Monolithsofts' Disaster Day of Crisis. If you think Xenoblade is good, wait till you try this.
I haven't even played any Xenogears but I'd happily lay down cash on Blade being the best game they've ever made.
Can't we all just stop talking about Xenoblade? All this talk about Xenoblade is just reminding me of how kick-ass Xenoblade was. I mean seriously, before you know it I'll be playing Xenoblade again in an attempt to reach the Giant King's Thomb. And once I do, I know I'll feel obliged to go after all 3 of the dragons in Xenoblade as well. And then, all of a sudden I will look up from Xenoblade and it'll be 2015 and I'll realise that I forgot to play Pikmin 3, or Mario Kart 8, or that new NEW Zelda we haven't seen anything of yet. Heck, I won't have played X, and all because of all you guys talking about Xenoblade. Lets just let Xenoblade rest. Pretty please?
Nope no one. Not one of us. We even have a gigantic thread on it of non impressions.
I stared at that Boston subway map so much when I was there. Helped me out a ton. Pay the man Naughty Dog, his map kicks ass.
So is this Pikmin 3 direct worth watching?
You have to see it for Miyamoto's t-shirt ... we wants it!!!
Other than that I'm pretty sure you'd be getting Pikmin 3 anyway wouldn't you ... if it existed!

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Hahaha!
Sorry man...I'm likely to post more about it until it is done.
Indiana Jones isn't one of the best games ever made of its genre though. Xenoblade is on the level with the very best the Wii has. To not release a game this good in all territories is FULL ON RETARDED.
Wow...that's not right at all.
But that was back in the pre-Playstation days...back then, shit like this used to happen. Nowadays, it shouldn't happen at all. As far asI know, these issues went away completely in the Gamecube era...then crept back in the Wii era because NOA was busy raking in money from nursing homes.
NOA is weird, NOE were much better this last generation. With Xenoblade I don't think most of us, or gaming journalists, NOA suits really had any idea of how good Xenoblade, was - before we got it in english.
